It's either because they think she feels like she's too good for everybody -- going straight to and from school, handing out all the answers in class, staying in the library for lunch -- or because they know who her father is and they don't want to be in her vicinity, or both. It doesn't matter who, nobody fucks with her. And she thought she could make it through til graduation not giving a fuck, but she's tired of not living and putting all these limits on herself. She might not make it to the final round for that HU scholarship and there's already enough limits on her anyways. So one day she eggs up and smiles at the one person who never treated her any kind of way; she always remembered how he was the only one who made her feel comfortable on her first day even though she awkwardly brushed past his dick on accident in class, and she invited herself over to his place to study. She wants least a few nice memories of high school.
