Wedding day

Hide's P.O.V.

Today's the day. Of course I'm very nervous. Me and Kaneki have known each other since we were little kids. And we fell in love. It took me a lot of bravery for me to propose to him, even though I knew he was going to say yes. Right now I'm sort of a nervous wreck, but hiding that fact. I mean but who wouldn't be nervous on their wedding day? Is Kaneki nervous too?

I continued to think as I tired to tie my black tie, but I'm bad at it. Eventually Nishiki walked in.

"Still can't tie a tie?" He asked teasing me.

"Shut up." I said as I blushed a little. After a few more tries I finally got it. And buttoned the last of the buttons on my coat.

Time skip~~

Now I stand here at the front of the hall, on the left. I'm even more nervous. I started playing with the ends of my coat and looked down at my feet. I looked up as the door opened. Hinami wanted to be the flower girl, so she was. She was happy and bubbly as she threw the peddles. A few more minutes past by before I saw Kaneki. I was almost breath taken. He was in a all white suit. But the only part that wasn't white his shoes, which were brown.

He now stood in front of me, with a sweet smile on his face. I just wanted to kiss him now and run away with him, but I didn't. We eventually got to put our rings on. He put mine on my left hand and I put his on his left too. Then we held hands before we got to kiss each other. He put his arms around my neck and I hugged him. We were both smiling in the kiss. I heard Hinami cheering behind Kaneki before Touka quieted her down.

Another Time skip~~

We partied for awhile. Yoriko made the wedding cake, we couldn't talk her out of it. When me and Kaneki were cutting the cake, he took some his slice and smashed it in my face. I did the same thing to him. Everyone just laughed at us. We danced for awhile. Kaneki walked outside after we were done. I walked behind him and stood next to him. We both looked up at the star lit sky. This reminded me of when we would hang out at the playground at night. We would just look at the sky and talk about things. And would tease him about how he would stare at girls sometimes.

"This has to be the best day of our lives." He suddenly said.

"I'm pretty sure it is."

"I just walked out here because I didn't want everyone's eyes on us for a little bit."

"But it is our special day."

"I know. But I still want to be alone with you."

"Alright. But will you dance with me?"

"Sure." He said before putting his arms around my neck. And I put my hands on his hips. We started to slow dance. I stared at his beautiful smile and grey eyes. And I kissed him, feeling his soft lips against mine. After we pulled away, he laid his head on my shoulder and I held him closer to me as continued to slow dance.

"How does it feel to be Ken Kaneki Nagachika?" I asked.

"It feels nice."

"I love you."

"I love you too." He said before kissing me again.
