Hide's P.O.V.

Ever since me and Kaneki found each other at Anteiku, where I almost bleeded to death, but he was able the bring me to help. He's been more loving. He's kisses are more gentle and his touch is more gentle during sex. Which this is okay, I see why he's doing that. But lately he's been hugging me all the time.

I'm changing into clean clothes? Hug.

Brushing my teeth? Hug.

About to leave for school or work? Hug.

Taking a shower together? Hug.

Cooking myself dinner? Hug.

He hugs for almost everything. I know I scared him when I almost died, but this is getting a little out of hand. I just need to tell him gently that I don't like him hugging me every second.

Right now I was watching TV on the couch, and of course Kaneki came from behind me and hugged me. Something went off inside of me. I didn't now what it was, but I stood up really fast and with angry look on my face. Kaneki gave me a confused look.

"Why do you keep hugging me? It's getting a little annoying to be hugged every second of the day." I said in a angry tone. He looked at with surprise before letting his bangs cover his right eye. His expression was sad and guilty. And a tear ran down his face.

"I-I....I'm sorry." He said before he crossed his arms and went to our bedroom and shut the door behind him. I put a hand over my mouth, shocked at what I said. I forgot that I need to be gentle with him on things. After what Jason did to him, he has been more emotionally breakable. He would be happy one minute, angry the next, then sad the next. Sometimes even a couple of these feelings at the same time.

I walked to the bedroom door and put my ear against it. I heard crying from the other side, but it was a little muffled. Most like by a blanket. I opened the door and saw Kaneki curled under the blanket, he was also holding the blanket against him. And he had the blanket over his head, covering his hair. He was crying. This broke my heart. I'm the one who made him cry. I walked to the bed and sat on the edge.

"Kaneki, come out." I said as I rubbed his shoulder. After a few seconds, he moved the blanket off of him and looked at me. Some of his white hair was sticking up. His eyes were red from crying. And he had tear stains down his face. His black and white sweater was exposing his shoulder and collar bone.

"Come here." I said before I had him lay his head on my lap. "I'm sorry for what I said. I just got angry all of a sudden."

"I'm sorry too. I'll just keep my distance from you."

"No, you don't need to do that. You were just loving on me in a way."

"I just got so protective of you. And wanted to love on you more, after what happened."

"I could tell. You decided that you were going to love me like you were going to lose me, right?"

"Yeah, I guess." He said before I laid down with him. He snuggled into my chest and wrapped him arms around me. I wrapped my arms around him and hid my face in his soft hair. And we stayed like that for awhile. Just content with being together.
