Marry me?

Hide's P.O.V.

I made up my mind that I was going to propose to Kaneki. I'm a little nervous. What if he says no? I don't think he would, but it's still something to worry about. I wanted this to be special.

We went on a date. I brought him to a coffee shop because he's a ghoul, and can't have human food. He ordered his usual black coffee. I just got some small sandwiches and iced coffee. After we were done, I paid for it but Kaneki tried to convince me to let him pay for it. But he gave up when I still wouldn't let him. We held hands and walked out of the shop and into the star filled night. We just walked around the little shops, there were street lights on. I couldn't stop looking at him, while blushing and smiling. He just looked so beautiful with the lights reflecting off of his raven black hair. And the way the street lights showed in his grey eyes.

"Why do you keep starring at me?" He asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Because you look so beautiful."

"Uh huh. If you're going to stare at me that long, why don't we go home and do a little...something~" He said in my ear. I chuckled at him before lightly pushing him away.

"Not yet, I want to show you something first."

"Alright." He said before we continued to walk. I brought him to where we first met.

"Hey, I know this place. It's where we first met." He said as we got there. And we sat in the same spots that we did back then. He laid his head on my shoulder. We just stayed like that before I said something.

"Can you stand up, please?" I asked as he looked up at me. I figured now or never.

"Why?"

"Just do it." I said before he stood up. I got on one knee and took out the ring that was in my back pocket. He watched me and was realizing what I was going to do. "Kaneki Ken, will you marry me?" I said before he covered his mouth with his hands and tears of joy ran down his face. His eyes were sparkling. Then he tackled me. I ended up on my back and he was crying tears of joy in the crook of my neck.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! A million times yes!" He said almost like a shout. After awhile he let me sit up and I put the ring on his right ring finger. Then he put his hands on my cheeks and kissed me.
