Another one shot about Haise, but the quix squad are they're adopted kids...

Hide's P.O.V.

I was sleeping in my and Haise's shared bed. I woke up a little bit and moved to snuggle him a bit more. I nuzzled my nose into his neck and held him closer to me in my arms.

"Good morning, honey." I said before kissing him on his neck.

"Guess you're finally waking up, sweetie." He responded.

"What do you mean finally? How long of you been awake?"

"Mutsuki woke me up in the middle of the night because he had a nightmare. I did get some sleep since then, but not much. I just let you sleep and cuddle me."

"He had another nightmare?"

"Yeah, he had me stay in his room with him until he fell back asleep because he was so scared."

"I worry about him, that's the third one this week."

"I do too, but all we can do is be there for him when he's scared."

"We should have a doctor check it out. So, we could get some more help."

"Yeah, I know. I'll make an appointment sometime today. And see when we can come in."

"I love you." I said before taking his hand, the one with his wedding ring on it, and kissed him on his hand.

"I love you too." He said after turning around in my arms to face me. Then he put his hands on my cheeks and pulled me into a kiss. I kissed him back as I hugged him tighter around his waist. "Okay, I should get up and get started on breakfast before the kids wake up." He said after pulling away. His hands were on my chest now.

"Come on, they'll sleep for awhile. Can't we have a little fun?~" I said as I started to kiss his neck. He let out a slight gasp in response, before putting his hand on my mouth.

"No, not this morning. I don't want one of the kids to walk in on us doing that and scare them for life."

"Fine." I groaned in response.

"But you can lay in bed and sleep a little longer."

"Okay. I love you."

"Love you too." He said before sitting up and kissing me on the cheek. Then he got out of the blanket and threw his legs over the side of the bed. He stood up before getting some of his clothes together and undressed. He was in a black t-shirt and grey basketball shorts for pajamas. He put on black pants, a brown belt, a white button up shirt, and black socks.

After he left our bedroom to go to the kitchen to make breakfast, I laid my head on his pillow and nuzzled my nose there. His side of the bed was still warm from when he was laying here. I fell back asleep after awhile before the bedroom door opened. I felt a weight climb onto the bed and sit next to me.

"Dad, wake up. Breakfast is ready." Said a little voice as they gently shook me. I cracked my eyes open and saw it was Mutsuki that was waking me up. He was in his day clothes already. Which was a blue t-shirt and grayish shorts. He also had on an eye patch because his right eye was hurt and he didn't like to show it. Because people just stare at him. It was hurt from when he was still living with his biological dad. He was abused before him and his brother were taken away. His dad was put in jail and his mom was already dead from the abuse. His brother was adopted before him. But we adopted him and he's doing better. But is still scared, he's flinched a couple times because he thought me or Haise were going to hit him. Which ended up in us not spanking any of the kids, especially Mutsuki. We just send them to their rooms or stand in a corner.

"Tell papa I'll be there in a few minutes." I said tiredly as I held his small hand.

"Okay." He said before getting off the bed and walking out if the bedroom. Instead of me actually getting up, I fell asleep again. So, as a result another pair of little footsteps came into the room before a weight jumped onto the bed.

"Wake up, dad!" Said a different little voice. I creaked my eyes open again and saw that it was Shirazu. He was already in his day clothes too. Which was a yellow shirt and a green pair of overalls.

"Five more minutes..." I said as I hid my face in Haise's pillow. But Shirazu just climbed onto my back and sat down on me.

"No, get up! I was promised extra bacon if I got you up!" He said as he started to shake me. I picked up my head a bit just to talk.

"So, that's why you're waking me up? That just makes me not want to get up even more. Then I won't get extra bacon too." I said before laying my head on the pillow again.

"You'll still get some bacon!"

"Yeah, 'some'. There's four of you not counting me and papa."

"Come on, just get up!" He said as he shook me more. After awhile of him shaking me, he just gave up and got off the bed before going back to the kitchen. I just laid there in the warm sunlight before someone else came in. They sat on the edge of the bed before running their fingers through my hair. I turned my head and opened my eyes. It was Haise that was waking me up this time. He was warmly smiling at me as he continued to play with my hair. He had on his cooking apron now.

"Hey..." I said before taking his hand off my head and held it before planting a kiss on his knuckles.

"You gotta get up. Breakfast will get cold and there won't be any left."

"I know, but maybe I'll get up if I get a kiss."

"Really?" He said before I hummed to say yes. "Okay then." He said before leaning down and kissed me on he cheek. After he pulled away I pouted.

"I wanted a kiss on the lips."

"Fine." He said before leaning down to kiss me. I kissed him back before wrapping my arms around his waist and started to pull him down.

"Wait, Hide no." Haise said as he broke the kiss. But I still pulled him down and got him on my side of the bed. I still had my arms around him. "Come on, you need to get up." He said as he tired to get out of my hold.

"No. I want to lay down with you."

"You still need to be a human being and get up. Because-Hahaha! Hide no!" He shouted and laughed as I started to tickle him. He continued to laugh as I continued to tickle him. "A-Attack!" He managed to get out between laughs.

"What do you mean 'attack'?" I said as I continued to tickle him. Then multiple little foot steps came in to the bedroom and tackled me. I got in my back, Shirazu and Urie held down my legs. Mutsuki had my left arm and Haise had my right. And last, but not least, Saiko was laying on my torso.

"Now, you can't get up, until you got promise to get dressed and eat with us." Haise said.

"Fine! I promise." I said before the they all let me go. All but Saiko least. I tired to sit up, but her weight forced me to lay back down. "I can't get up."

"Papa is very comfortable." She mumbled out. She was probably going back to sleep.

"Come on, sweetheart. He needs to get up." Haise said before putting his hands under her arms and picking her up off my chest. He held her against his shoulder and had his arm under her. She was already fast asleep in his arms. But she looked pretty comfortable. I got up as they all left the room for me to get dressed. I got dressed in a green long sleeved shirt and brown pants. Then I walked out of our bedroom and closed the door behind me. I got to the kitchen table and everyone was eating at their seats. Except Saiko, who had her head down and was asleep. I sat in my seat which was next to Haise.

We were all just eating out breakfast until I put my hand on Haise's, which was on the table. We glanced at each other and smiled. I just got to look at our golden wedding rings. And are a big but happy family.
