Kaneki's P.O.V.

Hide is missing. No one knows what happened to him. And it's hit me emotionally. I barely feel happy anymore, let alone smile. I just want him to come back safe. Is it to much to ask that my boyfriend and best friend to come back? I miss his big smile. His soft ginger hair. His beautiful chocolate brown eyes. The way he would cuddle me at night. I miss everything about him.

I was closing up Anteiku, when I herd someone say something.

"Sorry we're closed." I said in an emotionless voice.

"K-Kaneki..." I herd them say. I knew that voice. I wiped my head around to that voice. I saw Hide for the first time in awhile. He was skinnier. He was paler to, all most like my pale skin.

"Hide!" I shouted as ran to him and gave him the biggest hug. I hugged him tightly as I could, and I felt tears run down my face. And I kissed his head a few times. He wasn't really hugging me back. He just held on to my work uniform. Then he moved the collar of my work shirt and rested his head on my shoulder. Before licking my neck. I let out a slight moan and shuttered. Then I lightly pushed him away and looked at him.

His right eye was a ghoul one. How did he become a ghoul? What happened to him? Why did I let him suffer the way I do? And he's hungry. No wonder why he licked me, I do have a human like scent. I let one a little sigh before helping him stand.

"Come on." I said was I walked him to the back door. Once we were in inside, I lead him to a room. I opened the door, there was a bed, a coach and a small TV. I had him sit on the bed.

"I'll be right back." I said before I walked out of the room. I went to the fridge that stored the human flesh. I opened it and got a package. Then I went back to the room Hide was in. I handed him the package before he realized what it was.

"No!" He shouted as he threw the package across the room, almost hitting me. I looked at the package that was now on the floor, near the couch, and back at him. He was trying to hug himself with his jacket and was shaking a little. He's just like me when I become a ghoul. Just scared. But I don't want him to starve. He just needs a little nudge.

I thought of what to do before walking over the package. I took off my apron, vest, and tie. I also took off my eye-patch and put it in my back pocket. I put clothes on the couch before picking the package up. I opened it and took a corner off. Then I put it in my mouth, my ghoul eye was blazing, but I couldn't eat it. Hide needed to. I looked at him and he realized what I was going to do. He was about to run out the door before I tackled him. I put my mouth on his. He tried to fight me but I pined his hands above his head. I tried to shove the chuck of meat in his mouth, but he wouldn't accept. He also learned that I wasn't going to move before he ate it either.

Little by little he ate it. It was almost like a mama bird feeding it's babies. Once all the meat was out of my mouth, I let him go. Then he went to what was left of the package and ate it. Pretty much tarring it apart. He was most likely not going to share any of it. In the deem lighted room, you could his skin started to look less pale, and a more heathy tan. I licked what was left of the blood on my lips. When he got done, he looked over his shoulder at me. His ghoul eye was blazing and he was on the verge of tears. I held my arms out before he almost ran to me. He hugged me very tightly and cried into my shoulder. I hugged him back and rubbed his back.

"Shhhh. It's going to be alright." I said trying to calm him down. He calmed down after a few minutes. I helped him stand and set him back on the bed. I got a tissue and wiped the blood off his lips. I got another tissue and wiped away his dried tears. After I got done, I cupped his cheeks and kissed him on the forehead. Then we laid down on the bed. His head was under my chin and he was snuggled into my chest. I wrapped my arms around him and hid my face in his hair.

"I missed you." I said after a few minutes.

"I missed you too."

"I'm sorry for being so hard on you for not eating."

"It's okay. I was being stubborn. And you did it because you love me. Right?"

"Yes I did. And I would do it again if I have to." I said before he kissed me.

I'm so happy I got him back. Ghoul or not.
