Walking up in the morning

Hide's P.O.V.

I woke up with the sun in my eyes. I blecked a few times to agust to the light. I looked down to see a head of black hair in my chest. Kaneki wasn't awake yet, like usual I always wake up before him. He was softly snoring, he's always so cute when he sleeps. I pulled the belcket up a little further because I move a little in my sleep and the belcket starts to fall off of us. I held him closer to me. He moved a little, I was worried that I woke him up. But he went back to lightly snoring and I kissed him on the head.

I laid with him for awhile, until he started to wake up. He looked up at me with a tired face.

"Good morning, sleepy head." I said cheerfully.

"Morning." He said in a tired voice before yawning.

"We should get up. You probably have work later."

"Just 5 more minutes." He mumbled trying to go back to sleep.

"You always say that. Now come on get up." I said before pulling the belcket off. He shivered a little and held on to me titter.

"Come on, do I have to drag you out of bed?" I said.

"F-fine. I'll get up." Then he let go of me.

"You get dressed while I make breakfast. Okay?" I said as I hoped off the bed and he sat up.

"Okay." He said as he rubbed his eyes. I walked to the kitchen. When I got done with making breakfast and made Kaneki coffee. I heard Kaneki walk out from the bedroom and he sat at the table, he looked really tired. I placed the coffee in front of him. I started to eat my breakfast, but he just stared at his mug until I said something.

"Are you okay? You seem a little out of it." I said

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired."

"Just a little? You letrearly had a staring contest with the coffee mug."

"I'm fine, Hide."

"I can tell your lying. Did something happen last night?"

"I just had a bad dream."

"What happened in the dream?"

"Y-you died in my arms. I d-didn't know what to do. B-before you died you said 'Let's go home.'
I woke up and it was hard to fall back asleep." He looked on the verge of tears. I got up and walked over to him. And hugged him, he hugged back and started to cry.

"It's okay. I'm right here." I said trying to calm him down, and I was rubbing his back. I knew these nightmares where bad. He rarely talked about them. All I could do was comfort him and tell him it's okay. After a little bit he stopped crying. And he looked up at me.

"Thank you." He said before sniffing.

"For what?"

"For always being here for me. You accepted that I was a ghoul and trying to help me with these nightmares."

"You know I will do anything for you."

"That's why I love you."

"I love you too. I should probably get dressed, so we won't be late for our classes."

"Yeah, okay. I'll do the dishes." He said before letting me go. I walked to the bedroom and got dressed. When I walked out, I saw Kaneki finishing up the dishes. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and we got our bags and walked out the door to start our day.
