Kaneki's P.O.V.

Me and Hide are finally married. It feels a little weird to call him my husband. We got back from our honeymoon and went back to our apartment. We set our suit cases on the floor before Hide suddenly picked me up. I giggled as he set me on our bed. We started to kiss. As we were kissing I put a hand on my his shoulder. After we pulled away, I stared at his shoulder. I've been having something on my mind lately. A bite or mark I make to claim him as mine. It's probably a ghoul thing. But I never tell him because he might not like that. I moved my hand to be on his cheek and I stared at his face.

"What are you thinking about, honey?" He asked as he put a hand on mine.

"Just I..." I couldn't think of any words to say.

"It's okay. You can talk to me. I want to know what it is."

"I want to....mark you." The last part I said in a whisper.

"Mm? Come again?"

"I want to mark you. I think it's a ghoul thing where they're married they give each other marks, I guess as promising to stay with each other." I said as I started to play with the collar of his shirt.

"Mark me? Mark me how?"

"A-a bite." I stuttered out.

"Alright then." He said as he sat up. I sported myself on my forearms.

"What?"

"You can mark me. I don't mind." He said as I sat up. "Just put it somewhere I can hide it." He continued before I had him take off his shirt. I put my hand back on his shoulder and rubbed his arm.

"A-are you sure you're okay with me doing this?" I asked.

"Positive. I do want to stay with you forever." I nodded before I leaned in to lick his shoulder. Then I dug my teeth in. I heard him grunt. I didn't take any flesh, I just left a bite mark. I pulled away and saw that Hide was smiling. I had blood down the corner of my mouth and my ghoul eye was activated. He put a hand on my cheek and lean down to kiss me on the forehead.

I love this man. And I'll stay with him forever.
