Chapter 42:
Count them

LINCOLN POV:

A spear flew in front of my eyes, gutting the warrior in front of me. The blood oozed and his heavy body dropped to the ground. I turned to look at Bellamy; his wide smirk indicated the amount of anger and madness he has pilled up over the last couple of days, maybe even weeks. All of those emotions came flooding back through violence.

His face was generously freckled with our enemies' blood. The cut on his cheek was almost black as the blood froze itself on the cold temperature of the Ice Nation in front of us.
Grounders came rushing from each side, spears were flying across the 50meter radius and bullets were shot in the skulls of the already fallen warriors. The bloodshed was unbearable.

I took out three of them and turned to a repetitive sound of a machine gun.
"17" Bellamy muttered.

"You've gotten mad, brother." I told him, fighting off the fallen bunch.

"If being mad is this, I can't wait to show you what I have in store for Ontari." He smirked.

The frozen meadow became crowded, almost impossible to go through as Bellamy's gun was out of ammunition. We stood in right corner, a far from the gate but close to the spacious trees. We were surrounded and out of options. Standing back to back, I decided to call it.
"Ai gonplei ste odon."

"Bullshit-" He said.

Out of no-where a loud groan echoed through air. A magnificent black beast jumped in front of us and teared down the threat beforehand. The animal was huge with approximate 6metres tall, without counting the heavy black tail that only weighted 50 kilograms. On top of the beast was a rider, a female with long braided hair, a brunette dressed in dark brown leather with black fur covering her back and chest. On her head, she had a skull mask, with horns as from the devil himself.

"Hop on." She yelled, motioning towards the mountain lion.

We both did so, Bellamy behind me, grabbing the fur of the beast and riding it towards what seemed to be the path to Azgeda, the true Nation.
The girl took off her mask and I stood speechless-

"Little wolf, people such as yourself are tough to kill, aren't they?" I smiled as I gazed upon Scarlett, the girl who disappeared with vengeance being the last thing on her mind.

"Scarlett?" Bellamy yelped.

"It's good to see you both." She told, continuing - "There is someone else who awaits your presence eagerly." She said with a small laugh.

"I told you Bellamy, it is in true tragedy that you begin only now to understand your true feelings." Bellamy seemed confused, as was I. We had so many questions we needed answers to. How was Scarlett even alive..? Ontari has made it known in the whole Trigeda that Scarlett's life was taken by her sword.

BELLAMY POV:

I surveyed my surroundings as soon as we climbed off the beast. The gates were metallic, with spikes on top of them and a similar architecture within the gated area as one in Ton D.C.

"Over here." Scarlett motioned.

She led us to a building, swamped with guards, in heavy armor and weaponry. The last door at the end of the hallway led to a beautiful chamber room. We went in and saw the mysterious blonde awaiting patiently for our arrival.
