Taehyung and I walked hand in hand outside of the movie theater parking lot. He swung our hands together almost childlike, a boxy smile forming on his lips as he giggled and danced his way with me back to his car. I couldn't help but do the same as he was so goofy and I loved this side of him.
He opened my car door like the gentleman he is, and shut it firmly as I stepped in.
Taehyung got onto his side of the car, sitting in his seat and starting the car. He placed his hand gently on my thigh as he started to back out of the parking lot and make his way out onto the main road.
We drove for awhile with no talking, just the sound of Frank Sinatra's voice filling the car and I didn't mind that. Our silence was never awkward, it was actually comfortable. And that's how you know you're with the right person.
I turned, looking out the window next to me. It was starting to get dark outside and I knew I should be getting home soon. But instead of taking the exit that was on the way to my house, Taehyung kept driving.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked him, my gaze going to Taehyung who's eyes were focused on the front of the road.
"I'm not done with you yet," Taehyung snickered. He peered over his shoulder as he flicked the switch on his car indicting he was merging into the next lane. "I'm not ready to take you home. We still have time to spend."
I frowned a little. Although I'm not opposed to not going home to spend time with him, I wasn't sure what he had up his sleeve for us to do.
"...So what are we doing?" I asked him slowly, slightly raising my brow as I questioned him.
"Each other? Does that sound okay?" Taehyung joked, he flashed a smirk towards me and I covered my mouth from laughing at his comment.
"Oh stop." I said while I playfully pushed his shoulder and Taehyung let out a giggle.
"I'm taking you somewhere special. I've never taken anyone here myself before, although I used to come with my friends but you understand what I'm saying." Taehyung stated, settling his focus back on the road in front of him.
Somewhere special? My heart started to beat butterflies out while they took flight into my tummy. The fact that he wanted to take me somewhere special, with just me, made my world spin.
