You know when someone takes a baseball bat and smashes a mirror into a million pieces?
That's what my heart felt like when I saw what was in front of me.
Taehyung's back was turned, strutting his way out of the house with a girl hanging onto his wrist. When Taehyung turned around, we made direct eye contact.
I felt so many emotions, but the most dominate emotion was anger. I couldn't believe him. I couldn't believe her. How could this happen?
Acting out in rage, I snatched a drink out of a party goers hand, taking it to pour it over the girls head.
Jisoo turned around, her mouth completely open as she was drenched in cheap alcohol. "What the fuck! What was that for?"
"You stupid whore," I hissed. "You know exactly why."
"You didn't have to pour a drink on me! You're crazy, no wonder why Taehyung doesn't want anything to do with you." Jisoo spat, wiping the alcohol from her forehead.
"You don't know anything about our relationship. I didn't tell you anything. I always knew there was a reason I couldn't trust you. You're my best friend and you do this shit to me? Are you joking?" I asked her, my body started fuming with anger as I spoke to her.
"It's not my fault he likes me better than you." Jisoo snapped, her eyes hot with anger as she charged over to me, her hands going directly for my chest to push me.
"Oh yeah? How do I taste then, you stupid bitch!" I yelled.
I pushed her back with force, and before I know it, Jungkook's arms were wrapped around my waist, trying to keep me from acting out, but she had it coming for her. I grabbed a handful of Jisoo's hair, pulling with all of my might as she grabbed a handful of mine.
Taehyung ran forward to Jisoo, tugging on her body to try and get here away from me. Random bodies came over, trying to get us to split up from each other and to try and pull us apart.
"Let go of each other!" A random person was shouting as the two of us were still pulling at each other's hair.
I felt Jisoo kick at my knees, and I repeated the behavior.
Jungkook got a good tug on me, pulling me apart from her, swinging me back behind him as I kicked my legs to be put down and he held me firmly in my place. "Knock it off! What is wrong with you?"
"That's supposed to be my best friend, she's with my ex, Kookie! Are you dumb?!" I yelled at him as I felt hot tears forming in my eyes.
I watched as Jisoo was straightening her hair back out and pulling her dress down, and Taehyung walked over to her, fixing her hair for her. The sight before was enough, but this took the icing on the cake.
"Look at me now, Rose. I'm serious." Jungkook stood his ground in front of me and I gulped as I looked up at my best friend who was clearly upset by what just unfolded.
"It is not worth it to go after someone and get physical. That's not how you should behave." Jungkook began to lecture and I stomped my foot like a child.
"Do you blame me? She's our friend, Jungkook."
"I know, and it's fucked up of her but that's besides the point. You have to be the bigger person. Just let it go, let's just go home." Jungkook said, brushing his hand up and down my arm to try and comfort me. He took his other hand, wiping my sweat from my forehead and fixed my strap on my dress.
