To the Heart Kingdom!

"Captain Yami! The Heart Kingdom!" Asta shouted, making [Y/n] look in confusion. [Y/n] was finally able to make it back to the hideout after discovering that a devil was out to end her life. She ran into Asta, Guache, and Grey on the way inside. They were coming back from their investigation at Gordon's family home.

Yami squeezed Asta's head. "All that's coming through is your enthusiasm. Use your words." He said then grabbed [Y/n]'s head with his other hand, squeezing it, "And you, what part of 'relaxing' did you not understand?"

"I'm sorry, sir!" [Y/n] cried.

"Gordon-senpai's dad looked into it for us. There's a stupidly huge curse in the Heart Kingdom!" Asta continued.

"Oh?"

"I think we can find out something about the devil's curse if we go to the Heart Kingdom!" Asta said.

"Where's Gordon? And what does he think about this?" Yami questioned.

"He was gonna learn some curse magic, so he decided to stay at home for a while." Asta explained.

"I see. Also, why did those two come back looking like their minds were blown?" They looked over at Grey and Gauche who sat in a daze.

"Something about the food not agreeing with them or something?" Asta said, "I thought it was great!"

Yami then looked at the princess. "And you? What did you find?" He asked [Y/n], "What did you learn about your mom?"

'How does he always know??' [Y/n] thought "I..." She muttered; she wasn't sure if she could say, "Nothing... I couldn't connect my mother to anything that could help us."

Yami just looked at [Y/n] blankly, knowing that she was lying to him. "I think I got the gist of what's going on." He said and let go of Asta and [Y/n].

"Then do I get to go to the Heart Kingdom?" Asta questioned. "I wanna go, too." [Y/n] said. 'I have to find some answers as well.'

"Sure." Yami said, "I'll go make the arrangements, so just sit tight."

Later that day, Yami came back with a blank look. "It's not happening."

"Huh?" Noelle, Asta, and [Y/n] looked at him confused. Yami slouched down on the couch, "There's no way into the Heart Kingdom."

"What?!"

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Asta shouted.

"I was supposed to go to the Heart Kingdom, too, since the devil's curse is there!" Noelle shouted as well.

"The Heart Kingdom is our only lead..." [Y/n] muttered, a bit disappointed and thinking of all other options.

"The Heart Kingdom has a bunch of its own unique trap spells set up along its border." Yami explained while plopping down on the sofa, "We set any of those off, and we're instant fugitives. Then it'd become an international incident."

"No way!" Asta said, "Oh, but if we nullify the trap spells with my anti-magic, we could probably get in!"

"No, you fool. The moment we mess with them, they'll find us out." Yami said. [Y/n] sighed with disappointment.

"Well, that's not good." Vanessa said from her place on the other side of the sofa, "Sounds like Rogue isn't going to be able to help either, then."

"It'd be pretty much impossible to get in without them knowing." Yami said. Noelle hummed in thought then thought of something. "Come to think of it, I think Mimosa mentioned going to the Heart Kingdom before."

"Really?!" Asta shouted.

"Yes. She mentioned that there were some nobles going there like they were exchange students." Noelle explained.
