Atom's POV

The four of us decided to play basketball today just to catch up with each other since lately we've been busy. Dito lang sa bahay ni Gio. Ayaw na namin lumayo.

"Where's Gray? I wanna see him." Ivan asked as he did a 3-point shoot. Inagaw ko ang bola and passed it to Air. This is a two on two, Pangilinan bro's versus Alcante cousins.

"Did you mean 'Where's Grace I wanna see her'? Gio ang daya!" I was busy teasing Ivan pero Gio made a fucking move kaya nakuha sakin ang bola. This man really has his damn moves.

Ivan chuckled. "I'll meet her later."

"So are you starting to hate our job now? Because you can't have enough time with your girlfriends. Been there." Gio dunked. "Sucks, right?"

"Wait are we having bromance here?" I paused just to ask this question. "Bakit puro romantic songs?" Lumapit ako sa speaker and pressed the next button repeatedly. But damn puro love songs nga.

"Cien made a playlist for me." Ayan na naman si Jollibee. Bida-bida. "Imagine that? Someone made time to think of a whole playlist for you." I rolled my eyes on him. He's being mushy what the hell. Hindi pa rin ako sanay. He used to be like the guy who won't even think romantically.

Ivan put his water bottle down. "Cool. Let me do that for Grace. She'd be happy."

"Ako din." Gio smiled.

"Hey you're making me feel bad that it was her who did it and not me for her." Natatawang sagot sa kanila ni Air.

I stood up and threw the ball yeah just like a kid. "I'm left out. Gotta go."

We went home eventually and after I browse some study notes and analyzed some things, I suddenly craved for fried chicken. I couldn't help it so I went to my current favorite fast food resto to satisfy my craving. Minsan lang ako gutumin. Wala si Air para mautusan kaya ako na lang.

"Hi ate." I greeted the counter girl.

"Hi Sir!"

Dala ang number ko ay naupo ako sa two-seater na table just beside this classy window with a cool print on its glass. It looks nice. It's perfect for another date.

Just minutes after, I saw a familiar lady walk in the room. Her eyes wandered I guess looking for a vacant seat but every table is occupied right now. Should I let her join me? I'm honestly not a gentleman but I have a heart, man. Pero baka may kasama siya.

I was about to just ditch her when her round eyes landed on me. Shoot.

She walked closer to me so I smiled. "No seat?" I asked.

"Uh..."

"You can join me."

Mabilis siyang napangiti right after my invite. Nagulat ako sa order niya. I actually thought she's waiting for someone but no. She ordered a lot for herself.

"Pasko naman eh. Valid reason para kumain ng marami." She chuckled.

Looks like I found a new female friend here. We talked, just a normal conversation friends can have.
