"Something happened to the both of you last time you met, right?" asked Air, lowering the volume of the music player.

Oras na para matulog ngunit nang malaman ni Atom na uuwi si Carmela ay naikwento nito sa kapatid. Hindi niya alam kung ano ang kanyang nararamdaman ngunit ang alam niya ay gusto niyang makita ang dalaga.

"Will you keep asking that?" Atom sarcastically asked Air.

Air chuckled. "Sorry."

"She said she likes me. I think I like her too. Alam mo yun, we click. She's cool. Chill lang kami pareho, no dramas and no conflicts."

"Nah-uh. Not good. It's like you're not affected with each other at all, you know what I'm saying." Air rolled his eyes for he doesn't want to explain too much.

It's been five months since Carmela left for Davao. They lost communication and didn't meet up after the last.

"Whatever, paabot ng phone ko." Atom nonchalantly answered. "Bukas aamin na ko." He smirked. "But hey, you're wrong. I can see she likes me hindi naman ako manhid e. They way she looks at me? There's something, dude. I'm kinda kilig." Umiiling-iling pa nitong dugtong.

"But that 'chill, no dramas no conflicts' is because of you. Pinakita mo man lang ba na gusto mo din siya?"

Atom quickly stood up and jumped off to catch his phone when Air suddenly tossed it. "Goddamn it Air how dare you?! It's not a fucking flying saucer!"

Kinabukasan ay excited si Atom na pumunta sa coffee shop kung saan madalas sila pumunta at kung saan una silang nagkita. He arrived at 3:30 pm though they agreed to meet at 4.

"Astorm."

Mabilis siyang tumayo nang makita si Carmela. Hindi siya kinakabahan ukol sa magiging pag-amin at sa halip ay kalmado pa dahil nasa isip niya'y gusto rin siya ng babae.

He smiled back. "Nice to see you again."

Sinundan niya ng tingin ang kamay ni Carmela na ngayon ay hinahaplos ang tiyan. Hindi niya pinahalata ngunit nagulat siya nang makitang buntis ang babae.

'I-Is the child mine?' Tanong ni Atom sa sarili. Malinaw na malinaw sa kanya na may nangyari sa kanilang dalawa noong huli silang magkita at hindi sila gumamit ng proteksyon. Halong kaba at tuwa ang kanyang naramdaman pero hindi siya mapalagay dahil posible pa ring hindi siya ang ama ng dinadala ng kaibigan.

"Kamusta?" Carmela coolly asked as she sat down.

Kumurap-kurap si Atom upang bumalik sa wisyo. Kailangan niyang malaman kung sa kanya ba ang bata.

"I-I'm perfectly fine. Ikaw?"

"Namiss kita ah."

Atom smiled. "There's actually something I wanna tell you. I think hindi ko na kailangan pang patagalin." He was born ready to confess. He only falls for a girl once in a blue moon.
