Kokoro (心/ココロ/こころ) means "heart; mind; mentality; emotions; feelings."

Y/n and Norman have been together for only a few years, maybe going up to five. Norman is such a sweet gentleman, he does everything in his power to make Y/n happy. Her smile gives him a new light of hope.

For the sun always rises again, a new day arrives. The leaves on the trees dance along with the breeze. The patterned footsteps going down the road, hand in hand they walk together and smile. They couldn't ask for more than this. The pair is happy.

"Thanks, Norman."

"For what?"

"For loving me."

Y/n's fair skin glowed under the sun's soft gaze. Her eyes would trail over to the city view, sparkling and twinkling. The clouds and the trees served as her shade. Her silky hair went along with the rhythm of the wind. Norman had her heart in his arms, and he made sure to take care of it. He plants a small peck on her cheek. She giggles at the gesture and also returns a kiss on his cheek. The couple sat atop a hill in the outskirts of the city. This is their favorite place to spend time in each other's comforts. They always want to get away from the real world, they want to get away to a place where everything is all fine.

And now, Y/n has only three years left to live.
Norman is, of course, devastated by the news. But he made a promise. He promised that he would never frown or cry or be sad. She wants her partner to continue being happy, even if she is no longer beside him. Y/n understands how that can be for Norman. For he had such a fragile heart, he can be broken easily. Y/n would never let that happen. She also made a promise.

"Y/n, let's get married. One month from now. And after that, we can start our own family."

"Norman...a-are you ready for it?"

"For you, Y/n...I'd be ready for anything. Even to take my own life."

Norman was maybe exaggerating, but he was serious nonetheless. He meant well when he said that. He's ready to take the risks.

And so, Y/n and Norman lived on. She spent her remaining years to enjoy herself. After she and Norman got married, they had a beautiful child. That child grew up well.

And before Y/n finally passed away, "I'll always be here," she says, pointing her finger to his heart. She smiled for one last time.
