Chapter 27: Heartbreaking

JEONJEY HARVEY's POV

IF people refuse to look at you in a new light and they can only see you for what you were, only see you for the mistakes you’ve made, if they don’t realize that you are not your mistakes, then they have to go.

The emotion that can break your heart is sometimes the very one that heals it. I am highly impressed. What I see is my emotion flying free.

Nandito ako ngayon sa may garden na katayo at nakasandal lang sa isang puno.

Kanina ko pa pinagmamasdan si Jewel na nakaupo sa ilalim ng isang puno na di kalayuan sa kinaroroonan ko ngayon at alam ko na hindi niya ako napapansin na narito.

Nakayakap lang siya sa kanyang mga paa, and I know that she's crying.

But why? May problema ba siya?

At maya-maya ay narinig ko nalang ang hagulgol niya...

Damn it! I want to run bound at her. I want to ask her if she have a problem and also I want to comfort her. Dahil masakit sakin na nakikita siyang ganya.

Because I love her as much since we first met, but I'm afraid to confess my feelings to her cause this is not the right time.

Napabalik nalang ako sa reyalidad ng mapansin kong nakatayo na siya at nakatingin sa direction ko.

Shit! Kanina pa kaya niya ako napansin dito.

Halos mapaantras ako ng nagsimula na siyang humakbang papunta dito sakin.

At sa isang iglap ay nandito na siya sa aking harapan.

"Bakit ka nandito, Jeonjey?" my heartbeat fast when she speak infront of me.

"I'm the one that should to ask that." I said.

"Oh really? Naku, pasensya ka na. Nagpahangin lang ako." she said with a formal tone.

Nakatitig lang ako sa kanya na nakangiti sa aking harapan ngayon. She's pretending.

"A-are you okay?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Of course, I am." sagot niya na nakangiti parin.

"I see." sambit ko.

"Amm... Anyway, kung pwede lang sana. Wag muna akong magtrabaho ngayon as your assistant. May mahalaga pa kasi akong gagawin. Can I excuse for today?" she asked.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang isasagot ko dahil gusto ko man o hindi, kailangan ko parin irespeto ang gusto niya. Cause I know that she's not okay.

"Hey! Okay lang ba?" tanong niya ulit.

"Yeah!" yan lang ang tanging lumabas sa bibig ko.

And after that umalis na siya matapos magpaalam sakin. I want to stop her, pero mukhang gusto niya talagang mapag-isa ngayon.

SUCH a sweet time of grieving. You'll see that you were in mourning and your heart was broken, but your sadness life was changing because of her. I hope someday, masasabi ko rin sa kanya ang lahat-lahat.

WHEN your heart is broken it is the saddest thing in the world. All your energy leaves you and everything in your life seems to lose all meaning. You gave your heart and soul to this love, and now it is no more.
