New families

We can do this can't we?

At the end of the first week Jac and Fletch were lying in bed one morning chatting
"So" Fletch began "on the night before we came away, I had an interesting conversation with Ella and Theo"
Jac chuckled "was it about if they were all good on holiday they think it would be a good idea for us all to live together?"
"Ah Emma too huh? Seems the three of them have it all figured out"
"Seems that way" Jac said wondering where this conversation was headed
"Got me thinking"
"Dangerous"
"I know" he smiled "what do you think of their plan?"
"I think they are little children with an idealistic view of the world. They don't understand how difficult it would be emotionally for us all to live together never mind the logistics of it"
She turned over onto her stomach so she could look at him properly and gauge his reaction to what she was going to say next
"So in conclusion- I think it's a great idea. What about you?"she asked slightly nervously
Fletch was momentarily speechless . He looked down at the woman who had become his absolute world. The woman he never thought would allow him to break down her defences. The woman who'd been so damaged by her childhood she kept everyone at arms length and was fiercely independent. The woman who was lying next to him in bed. The woman who had just asked him if he agreed it was a good idea to live together.
"Fletch? Earth to Fletch. Did you hear what I said" Jac asked. Stroking his chest to get his attention. His silence had begun to give her a sinking feeling in her stomach
"It's ok, I know it's too soon. Forget I said anything" she tried to sound carefree
Fletch finally came to his senses "I'm not going to forget it Jac because I think it is a fantastic idea"
"You arse" she said hitting him lightly "why did you keep me hanging like that? I was really worried"
"Sorry sweetheart" he kissed the top of her head "I was just thinking how much I love you and how hard it's been for you to, you know, let me in and everything. I guess I was a bit overwhelmed at what you were saying"
Jac had no words, she simply shuffled over until she was on top of him
"We can do this can't we?" She said
"Absolutely"
With Jac lying on top of him, wearing very little it wasn't long before Fletch found it impossible to hide his arousal. Also turned on, Jac began gently rocking against him with a breathy sigh
"Do you think the kids are still asleep?" Murmured Fletch, grinding back into her with quiet groans of his own.
"Probably but just be quiet" she placed her hand over his mouth softly.
God, thought Fletch, that just made it hotter. She owned him completely.
