The next morning at the Fletcher house was a flurry of activity, hair, make up, dresses.
Emily and Sarah came round to get ready
"How's Fletch?" Jac asked whilst making breakfast
"Honestly?" Said Emily "still in bed"
"He's what?"
Emily laughed "Jac hun the wedding is not for 5 hours and you know he's so pretty anyway so all he has to do is shower, trim his beard, grease his hair back and throw on a suit. Half an hour tops"
"So pretty my backside" she grumbled "he better not be late"
She turned to Sarah "are you two ...."
Sarah put her arm round Emily's waist
"We're fine. I wore her down Jac you were right"
"I'm pleased for you both. Sorry there's no bridesmaid dress for you, I'm sure I have something I wore to my exes wedding that would be ok"
"Exes wedding?" Whispered Sarah to Emily
"Emma's dad. I'll tell you later"
The boys were just getting up and drinking coffee
"I deserve to feel a lot worse Sacha. I feel great"
"So you should on your wedding day"
"Yeah I think I was pretty hungover last time"
Eventually it was time, Sacha picked Jac up in a vintage car and Emily and Sarah between them herded the six kids into two other cars. Sarah had happily volunteered to look after Luc all day
When Jac had carefully made her way down stairs Emma and Ella both declared she looked like a princess .
At the country house where the wedding was to be held,  Fletch was mingling with guests until someone announced that the bride was here and for everybody to take their places
"You ready for this?" Sacha asked Jac as they prepared to go and meet Fletch
"Ready as I'll ever be"
The music started and they walked slowly towards Fletch followed by Emily, Evie, Ella and Emma. The boys were sitting with Sarah and Luc
Fletch had tears in his eyes as he saw Jac for the first time. She was beaming the rare Naylor smile that lit up any room. Behind her his best friend which just made him more emotional. When they reached the front Fletch took Jac's hand as he smiled at Emily taking her place beside him as 'best man'
"You look amazing" Fletch whispered "beautiful. Just beautiful"
"Thank you"she squeezed his hand
They had decided on traditional vows but opted to add a little at the end
"Jac. I can't believe this day is here after all we've been through. You agreeing to marry me is right up there as one of the best days of my life. I love you"
"I almost can't believe I 'm here. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would want to get married but that was before I met and fell in love with you. You and your family have changed me in a good way and I feel so blessed to have you all in my life."
"I now pronounce you man and wife" said the registrar and everyone broke into spontaneous applause as Fletch kissed his new wife
