When Emmeline came to the headmistress's office, she felt Prince's eyes on her. The girl swallowed and looked at the floor. She saw his black heels with a love sign on the sliders. One of those shoes was tapping in an irritating way.
— Thank you for bringing my granddaughter — Prince said. — We have to do something important. Will her last two hours be justified?
— Yes, Mr. Nelson — The headmistress replied and smiled broadly to him. — You do not have to worry.
He does not, but I'm in trouble, Emmeline thought.
Mrs. Brown would not be so forgiving to another parent - only that the man standing in front of her was not an ordinary person. He was one of the most famous rock stars and the pride of this city. He had special privileges.
— Emmeline — Prince's voice was cold. — Look at me.
The girl pursed her lips and slowly raised her head. Prince stared at her with frowns. In his brown eyes she saw a rage.
— Say goodbye to the headmaster — He ordered her, looking at Em's clothes and make - up.
Emmeline said quietly "goodbye" to Mrs. Brown; Prince did the same and left, holding his granddaughter by the shoulder. As they walked down the hall, Em felt the eyes of other students.
