I woke up to the sound of the birds, chirping happily along the side of the window as if they were performing a symphony for me. Ah, what a wonderful way to wake up, away from all the stress and depressions.
Then I realized that I haven't made that nightmare every since. Perhaps I'm finally recovering from the fell, perhaps...
I can finally experience true happiness again.
"Good morning, (Y/n)-chan." I turned over to saw Tsu already dressed up and ready to go eat breakfast. "Good morning!" I greeted the girl back, not forgetting to put on my usual smile. I quickly changed and took a shower before heading to the downstairs.
"Hello people!" I announced cheerfully, excited for what is going to happen today. "Good morning!" Kirishima said in return as someone blocked my eyes. "W-Wha-"
"Good morning, (Y/n)!!" Mena screamed. The pair of hand finally let go of my sight and figured that it was the over-energetic girl. I sigh while shaking my head. Within sometimes, everyone has gradually arrived in the living room and we could start our breakfast.
After the delicious meal that we had, we started to plan for today. Some want to train quirk, some want to relax, and some wants to do a bit of both, however, we did settle on the fact that we'll be beside the lake to spend our day.
I packed a few snacks for the group when having some problems with those man in black suits who were trying to help me like I got no legs. Well, I wasn't that patience so I just left without a call. But there's still one more problem...
"Momo, are you sure you're okay?" I asked the girl who's coughing hard.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. It's okay, (Y/n) no need to worry-" and she was cut off by the cough again. I handed the bags to Kirishima who kindly accepts to help me carry it. "You really need to take some rest," Ochako said with worry. "Yeah, if you don't take care of your body, you won't be able to go back to school tomorrow," Izuku added.
"They're right, Momo-chan, just take some rest." Soon the girl finally gave in and accept the defeat from the illness. I offered to stay at the resort and take care of her while everyone is gone since I sent those servants away. "Have fun, guys!" I told them before each of them leave the room.
There was still one who hasn't gone yet, though. "Todoroki, are you coming?" I can hear Sero shouting, clearly eager to go to the pond side and enjoy his time. The boy glances over and focuses on me again, walking closer and closer. He embraces me tightly with a smile.
My heart is going to explode.
And he left without another word, maybe it's because of the embarrassment of the action he did just now. I giggled to myself before making my way back to the room.
I grabbed a few ice packs and made my way to Momo's room, which is quite empty now that everyone's gone to see the views. "How're you?" I asked the girl who was laying on the bed weakly.
"I'm not feeling so well, I guess I got a fever."
"It's a good thing I got these!" I said with my both hands up, revealing the ice packs. I measure the temperature and was shocked. "Wow, 38.5...Girl, you need to rest." She sighs as I place the packs on her forehead and made my way downstairs to cook something for her. Searching around, I took the ingredients needed to make a porridge and started searching online for the recipe. I've used the kitchen, for a couple of time, and the last time it exploded was about a year ago, so I should be fine.
The real problem is that I entered the kitchen about a year before...
I'll figure it out. I pull my sleeves up and gave myself a aknologying nod. I cut the vegetables and throw them into the pot, cutting myself in the half way too. I stirred the meal and wishes it will turn out edible. After some amount of time, the food is done. I took ka spoon and tasted it.
