It's a place filled with flowers, just like the one where he confessed.
I walk around this place carelessly, only enjoying my life and let the pressure sink inside this natural's soil. The sun was up in the sky, it was noon, as the heat affected me to a point that I couldn't bear anymore, so I walk back to the classroom.
As expected, there wasn't anyone in sight. No teacher, no students, it's just this absolute silence and me. However, I still sit on my seat quietly, wishing that my destiny will provide a surprise for me. No luck for this lonely girl I guess, I glance outside the window.
I am in this world where it's just me. This must be a dream, or some sort of imaginary universe that couldn't possible is the reality. I didn't know what was going on. I don't know the reason for me being here, why there isn't anyone, or why is this even exist.
There was one point that I could be sure about, which is that I'll be here for quite sometimes.
Could it be some sort of unethical human experiment that some random group of scientists is putting me through? Or is it an alternative universe but just everyone died? Am I in some kind of simulation for an upcoming augmented reality video game which lets you experience the life of a lonely folk?
I didn't know.
I also have no memories what so ever. I didn't remember who I was, where I live, or even what I do currently. Still, though, I got some informations to hold on to.
I knew I was around the age for a high schooler and I probably go to school. I probably am studying in this school and I probably am a student in this class. I researched more about those remaining details left inside my brain.
I also remembered something else.
There used to be a person who's very important for me, and that person had confessed to me.
But other than that sentence which basically phrased it all, I got nothing.
So the days passed. I wandered to the garden in the morning, went back to class till the evening, then go back to the garden till the next day's noon. Each day passes fast as if they only last a few hours. I could guess that it's probably just a day continuing repeatedly since there wasn't any sign of changes in the seasons.
I was bored.
I wish for something to happen.
And so it did.
After countless days of wishing, my destiny finally heard my call. Something happened.
I was still performing the daily routines, just traveling back to the classroom because of the heat that I can never bare long, I saw a person running down the hallways.
The curiosity was killing me, I dashed straight behind the person. My speed was equal to the figure, I could make it any closer nor can fall behind any further. From my view, I could tell that it was a girl with (h/c) who's wearing the exact uniform that I wore.
I followed her footsteps, passed the field, passed the garden, and passed all these empty classrooms. My breath was steady for some reason as if I had trained for these exercises. My mouth worded the sentence, "Wait up!", but nothing seems to come out. Maybe it's because I didn't speak for such a long time now that my voice doesn't even work anymore.
She wasn't showing any sign of slowing her steps, however, so I continued the chase.
My mind was filled with thoughts but questions at the same time. In this universe, there was just so many things that are out of logic.
Why don't I ever need to sleep or eat?
I tried to push the confusion aside and focus on this current that was going on. What seems have to be an endless chase finally had something out of expected.
She tripped.
This gave me a huge advantage of catching up on her. I quickly rushed to her side and kneel down. Her face was covered by her arms which were protecting her head during the fall. I didn't know how to react.
I stood there awkwardly until I decided to take action. I poked her.
"Wha...." The girl responded. She was still alive. I sigh in relief in seeing this lifeless body slowly getting up from its original position. The girl was not tall, but not short at the same time, she was about the same height that I was in. I got around her and helped her to stand up, which she responded again, but with a stare.
I wasn't going to blame this strange reaction that she gave since this world was already so wrong at so many different points, I smiled at her. Those (e/c) eyes of her were sparkling in an emotion that I didn't understand.
But I could sense hatred in her aura.
I wasn't sure how to answer this, so I back up slowly. However, the girl played no hesitation at all before walking up to me, now pinning me against a wall.
Not in a romantically way, of course.
I smiled at her, hoping to assure this atmosphere a little. Her eyes are still sparkling, however, now was in interest.
"I never thought I'll get to see you." She said with her voice hinting excitements. "I mean in person."
I didn't know what was going on, so I awkward averted my glance to somewhere else. She was inching closer and closer and I can only try my best to get away from her.
"Why are you trying to escape from me?" She said while pushing me even further into the wall if that was even possible.
I wanted to reply, but the problem still remains with my voice being too "broken," so I just shake my head.
"Do you know how to speak?" I nodded as she continued to question me. "Then why you don't speak?"
"You lost your voice?" I nodded again where she came even closer now. With our bodies touching physically, I have almost lost my breath. I tried to push her away, but she still didn't get my hint.
She took another good look at me in silence, where she investigated me in every detail, trailing her eyes from top to bottom before speaking once more.
"You look exactly like me."
My eyes widened without me realizing the action. I was surprised by this statement.
I didn't even know if what she said was true or not. I never saw myself in any sort of reflection since I'm here...
I don't even know am I the owner of this body.
It's quite possible that I am just the consciousness that is mentally talking with myself now.
From the (h/c) that I could see from the corner of my eyes because of my (h/l), it's true that we both have the same color of hair. But there's just not many ways to prove that we actually look exactly the same as if our eyes color, weight, and other human quality that makes us unique.
Or maybe I am not a human?
I've stayed in this world for too long that I am now questioning which species do I belong in...sure.
"You seems surprised, have you not seen yourself?" She said as she finally heard my heart's words and moved back. I nodded slowly.
"In that case, let's go search for a mirror!" She said with both of her hands up, smiling brightly as the sunshine ended its time as her words came to existence as if these all were just scripted.
I just realized that this is going to be a long book...
