"Hey Tsu!" I greeted the girl in the distance. She turned to where the voice came from and jumped toward me.
She is Tsu, a friend I know since kindergarten. She's the one who pulled me out of the dark and let me smile again after what I've been through.
"Hey!"
"Let's go to the usual place?"
"Sure, ribbit!"
Both of us walked into an alley, which a flower shop appeared at the end of it. It's the place we'll always go when hanging out, kind of like a secret base that will always be included within the list of where we will be going on our times.
"Welcome to Bio- Oh look who's here again! (Y/n) and Tsu!"
The shop owner, a lady with dark brown hair and wearing a white dress had welcomed us while holding a blue flower in her hand.
"Same orders?"
Tsu nodded as I replied with a cheerful yes. We find our seats in the usual place beside the windows.
"So, excited for tomorrow?" I asked as I glanced around the shop, nothing had changed.
"Yes, but a little nervous..."
"You'll do great! I can promise you on that one." I said confidently as she replied thanks.
"Did you remember to change the bandages?" She asked ever so suddenly.
I turned away quickly as I softly mouthed the word yes since I didn't want to let her notice the sadness within my eyes.
"You know me, I say whatever I got in mind. Sometimes you're a little bit careless so I was just wondering about it."
I nodded but still haven't face her.
"Your orders, (favorite drink/or water :V) and orange juice." said the lady as she placed the drinks that spread the smell of (favorite drink) in front of me and the iced orange juice in front of Tsu. We thanked her as the silence falls, again.
"Still sad about it, ribbit?"
She's my friend for so long that even if my expression hasn't been able to hint her she had already guessed it.
It's the part of memory that I had never told anyone except her, not even my parents. I've gone through some things that really affected how I was acting, all depressed and stuff. Eventually, I brought myself together and with the help of my friend, I have finally returned to the original me.
At least that's what they thought.
"Who knows...?" I almost whispered that part when turning back my head, paused when my glance met hers, then start to admire the beauty outside the window.
She drinks her juice as the the sound of ice bumping against the glass echoed around the place.
"(Y/n)-chan, I think it's time that you let go of your past. I know how people say remembering past makes you stronger...perhaps that just doesn't work for your case, ribbit. I mean it's time for you to embrace all those things that you have been through. It's already past isn't it, so why don't just let yourself rest a little bit and get out of the cursed area? Or you could..."
She didn't finish the sentence as she now looks at the direction that I am looking at.
A kid was running happily along with his pet dog, but all I can focus on was the smile.
How could it be so real?
"Life past by. Before you know it, everything will fade to black." I looked at Tsu who's now the one not facing me.
"Let's go to the newly opened shop down the streets," suggested Tsu as she stood up and walk to the lady to pay.
"Sure," I also followed her actions as the me deep inside drowned in guilt for being so cold and ignorant as she tried to help me.
We exited the shop and make our way to the shop.
I will want Tsuyu as a friend QQ she seems to be a nice one. She's an angel.
