I tried to control myself.

    "Crazy bitch." Jack said aggressively.

"Why would she say that!" I wiped my tears.

"Fuck what she says, nobody is going to die. You're gonna be fine, and I'll be with you." He put his hand on my thigh.

"But I'm pretty sure she didn't suddenly become terrified and scream 'DEATH' for the hell of it! Something's gonna happen!" I raised my voice.

"She's probably a fraud." Jack said.

"Jack, she knew my name." I got goosebumps again.

"She's probably seen us and the boys online."

"She was like 50 years old! I'm pretty sure she's not hanging out on Vine and Twitter and Instagram!" I said.

"Look, stop finding the reasons why she could be right. It's not going to help you or me. I'm gonna be right here with you and you're not going to die, okay?" He held my hand.

    I caught my breath.

"Let's go grab some takeout hobo dinners from Chuck's Diner and lay out in my backyard watch a movie on the little portable DVD player." He looked at me. I grinned.

    "What?" He smiled back.

    "You." I giggled.

"What about me?" He sounded embarrassed.

    "You're so perfect for me."

"You're perfect, and you're all for me." He bit his lip and looked over at me. I leaned in and kissed him.

Once we got our hobo dinners, we went to Jack's and got a ton of blankets and reclining chairs and brought them out on the patio along with the DVD player. We scooted our chairs right next to each other and began eating. He started the movie, which was Step Brothers.

"The flight leaves at midnight so we have like 6 hours." Jack put his arm around me and took a bite of his food. I did the same.

"Am I gonna have to pack everything?"

"We're gonna be on the road until my birthday, so probably everything you'll need until then."

"Wait when's your birthday?" I asked, trying not to laugh.

    "Seriously?" He smiled.

"Wait do you really not know when my birthday is?" He sounded worried.

    "September 2nd!" I grinned.

He looked at me like I was stupid.

"I'm just kidding! September 10th. I've known that since before I met you." I laughed.

"Stalker." He smirked and took another bite.

"Everyone knows your birthday, shut up!" I playfully hit him in the shoulder.

"Did a fly just land on my shoulder?" He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me.

I hit him at full force this time. "YEET BITCH!" I yelled. He laughed so hard that he choked on a piece of a potato. The DVD player fell on the floor.

"Oh my god are you okay?" I said, laughing through every word.

He got up while coughing and ran inside and into the kitchen. He came back with watery eyes and a glass of water. He watched me while he was drinking it. He smiled at me before throwing the cup at my head. My shirt and pants were soaked.

"YEET!" He laughed and ran inside once he saw my face.

"YOU LITTLE SHIT!" I yelled, getting up from the chair. I grabbed the cup off the floor and ran into the kitchen to fill it up with water. I didn't see Jack.

"Jack! You ruined my phone! I'm leaving!" I yelled. I put the cup of water behind my back. He came running into the kitchen.

"I did? Let me see." He held his hand out.

I threw the cup at him and it splattered all over his shirt and then onto the floor.

I laughed as he bit his bottom lip, trying not to laugh.

"I'm gonna throw you in that kiddy pool." He smiled and pointed through the window at the half-full, dirt-filled plastic pool he had for the dogs.

    I stopped laughing.

"No! NO!" I started backing away.  He charged at me and picked me up from behind. He began carrying me go the backyard.

I tried escaping from his grasp, but he was too strong.

    "JACK!" I yelled. "NO PLEASE!"

He started running towards the pool, causing me to scream. Right before he was about to throw me in, he let me go.

"I would never throw you in there!" He laughed.

"Oh my god you scared me." I said. He held his arms out for a hug, and I accepted.

Suddenly, I was pushed over and engulfed by the warm dirty water. I wiped my face off and sat up.

"Jack!" I whined, pretending to cry.

"Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He held in his laughs and reached his hand out to help me up.  I stood on my feet and got out of the pool.

    "Are you okay?"

    "I just want a hug." I said.

He wrapped his arms around me. I let go of him and pushed him as hard as I could into the water.
