Chapter 13 - Coming Together.. Or Apart?

When we arrived at Jack's, Ava was outside playing basketball with Nash. I totally just set her up with her celebrity crush. and it's really working out.

I got out and Ava looked at me.

"Nice clothes." She smiled.

"Thanks, compliments of Ava."

"Better not have used my new mascara."

Hayes came running out of the house in a panic.

"JACK!! CALL 911 RIGHT NOW" he screamed.

"Dude. You don't need to joke ab-"

"I'M BEING FUCKING SERIOUS! CAM WON'T WAKE UP. CALL 911 RIGHT NOW"

I gasped and looked at Ava. We ran into the house with Nash while Jack and Hayes called an ambulance.

All the boys were surrounding Cameron, who was on the floor.

"OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED?" I yelled.

They all looked worried and scared. Carter was shaking him.

"He won't wake up!! This morning we were all awake and we tried waking him up and he won't. We've tried everything. He's breathing but he won't open his eyes." Shawn said in a panic.

"CAM, CAN YOU HEAR ME?" Matt tugged on Cam's lifeless arm. I put my hand over my mouth. Ava stood close to me.

Jack and Hayes ran inside.

"GUYS WHAT HAPPENED?" He looked terrified.

"This morning they tried waking him up and he wouldn't. He's breathing but nobody can get him to wake up!" I bit my nail. I walked over to Cameron. He looked completely lifeless. Tears rushed to my eyes.

Some of the boys were wiping their eyes. This is absolutely nerve-shocking. We heard sirens outside. Jack opened the door for the paramedics and they brought in a cart and put Cam on it. Hayes was telling them what happened when they settled Cam into the back of the truck. Nash and Matt got in the truck. Some of the boys tried fitting into Jacks Jeep and the rest tried fitting into Ava's. We had to squish, but we'd do anything to see if he's okay.

Ava followed Jack to the hospital. When we got there, everyone was so shaky and worried. We all came inside and figured out which part Cam was in and we waited in the waiting room. I sat in between Jack and Ava. Jacks hand was entertwined with mine.

All the boys looked fidgety.

A doctor came out into the waiting room.

"Are you friends of Cameron Dallas?"

"Yes," several of us replied.
