When I woke up, I felt weird and groggy. I saw my clothes on the floor... I think I kind of regret taking them off. I sat up and looked at Jack. Then at my clothes. Maybe I don't regret taking them off.

I got up and checked my phone. 12am. I put the clothes I borrowed from Ava back on. Maybe I should start bringing clothes of my own and stuff.

I heard the boys being loud and laughing downstairs, so I grabbed my phone and went down.

"Hey Paige, where'd you sleep?" Nash winked at me like 5 times. The boys looked at me.

   "Upstairs." I blushed.

"I've been waiting for you all morning." Ava grabbed my arm and lead me out the door.

   "What?"

"I want to go take a shower and change out of my clothes like right now." She started walking to her car.

"Okay.. Can you drop me off at home before you go?"

   "Yeah."

We got in the car and started driving to my house.

"Why did you sleep upstairs with Jack?" She didn't look at me.

"Uh, you all fell asleep and he wanted me to come upstairs with him."

   "What'd you do with him?"

Was she mad? Jack was her second favorite boy. I didn't think she cared though, I mean, she had her first favorite. Nash.

"Nothin." I looked out my window.

   "Really?" She looked at me.

"He's only seen me in a bra and underwear.." I rubbed my thumbs together.

She started laughing. "Paige you just barely met him. Have some self respect."

"Excuse me? It's my life. He's the first boy I've ever done anything with." I rolled my eyes.

"Kay, but do you really think things should move that fast? It's weird."

"Just because you've had a million and boyfriends and know all the right things to do doesn't mean I have to do the same thing. We've only kissed. People do way more than that on first dates. Why should it even matter? You have Nash. Oh, do you want Jack too? I mean, you always get the guy you want so it shouldn't be too hard." I folded my arms.

"I just don't want you to get hurt." She looked concerned.

"I can handle things by myself. I'm not stupid."

"I know you're not but he has millions of girls after him. What if someone else comes along?"

"Oh so I'm not good enough to be with him? Every other girl has so much more to offer, right."

"Okay okay, I'm sorry. My point was that I just didn't want you to be heartbroken."

"Just let me handle it okay?"

   "Okay."

"Thanks for caring.." I looked at her.

"No problem.. But I don't want you to think that I get all the guys. All the boys compliment you and Cameron even had a crush on you. You have a lot more than I do."

   I started laughing. "Whatever."

   She smiled. She meant it.

When arrived at my house a few minutes later.

"Pick you up in an hour?" She asked.

"I have my own car, you know." I said smiling.

"I know but I thought something was like, wrong with it? You haven't drove it lately."

   "I should probably drive it."

"Okay, meet you back at Jack's in an hour..?"

  "Yeah."

   "Okay see ya."

"See ya." I waved and walked inside.

"Hey" My dad greeted. He was washing his hands in the sink. My mom was at the counter, typing of the laptop.

  "Hi."

"Have you been going to work?" My mom asked.

It was Thursday afternoon, I've missed Tuesday and Wednesday and I was already thinking about skipping today. I guess I kinda forgot that I had a job.

   "No.." I answered.

"We understand that you've been busy but you're just going to lose your job? That's not like you." My mom said.

"And you haven't been driving your car. Did you run out of money for gas?" My dad questioned.

"No? I just have been getting rides. I'll drive it today."

"And how do you pay for gas with no money when you quit that job?" My mom folded her arms.

"I save up all my money for gas. I have hundreds of dollars to use for that. I'm fine." I folded my arms too.

"Please don't start catching bad habits." My dad looked at me.

"My friend is in the HOSPITAL and might not live. I'm sorry that I don't want to go take orders from people all day and smell like pizza." I walked downstairs. They just looked at each other and didn't say anything.
