After Jack and I got in the car, he sat there for a second.

"That was actually really fun, I didn't know if you would like it or not."

"I didn't like it." I said. I folded my arms.

"What? Oh, I-" He looked at me, worried.

"I loved it." I grinned.

"Jesus, you keep scaring me."

"I'm spontaneous." I mocked him.

He smiled at me and turned on the car. we started backing out. I looked at the clock and saw that it was almost 7:00.

"What time do the guys wake up?"

"Carter is usually the first one to wake up, he wakes up at like 9. The last one to wake up is going to most likely be Nash. He sleeps until like 12."

I laughed at the vision I had in my head of all of them talking and Nash still passed out on the ground.

"Wanna get some donuts? There's a bakery down the road that my aunt owns. Pam's Pastries. Ever been there?" He explained

"Your aunt is Pam? Wow, I love that place. She knows who I am because I come there so much. Her German chocolate donuts are phenomenal."

We drove down the road to the bakery. When we pulled in, There were quite a few people inside. We got out of the car and went inside. we were fourth in line.

"I'm gonna go the bathroom, I'll be back." Jack said. I stood alone in line.

When I bumped up to third in line, two girls entered the shop. They had on belly shirts and booty shorts. Both blonde. They stood behind me.

"Look at her shoes." I heard one whisper behind me. I looked down at my black sandals that I've had for 2 years.

"Did she find that purse in the street?" They both giggled.

"Oh my god, Kayla, look- it's Jack Gilinsky." I watched as Jack walked back over to me.

"What's up? You look sad." He said.

"The two girls behind us were laughing at my shoes and my purse." I said quietly and close to his ear so they wouldn't hear. He turned around and looked at them.

"Hi! I'm Kimmy." One of them said a little too excitedly and waved.

Jack shot her a disgusted look at turned around and put his arm around me. I suddenly wanted to burst out laughing. It was our turn to order.

"Jack! Paige! You two know each other? What a surprise!"

"Hi." we both smiled and said in sync. He still had his arm around me and it was causing uncontrollable butterflies. We had a quick chat with Pam and ordered our donuts. She handed us 2 donuts in separate bags.

"On the house." She nicely exclaimed.

"Wow, thank you. You're amazing." Jack said.

"Thanks Pam, see you soon." I had a happy expression on my face. We turned around and walked out. The two girls scolded me. HAHA.

We got back in the Jeep and took bites of our donuts.

"I swear you have connections with everybody. Everything is just free for you."

"Not everything, but yeah I do have connections." He took a bite of his raspberry donut.

We had conversation throughout the whole way to my house and we finished our donuts off. We pulled into my driveway. Ava's car was here, but she wasn't inside. Oh no. I still haven't told her about Jack.

"I had a lot of fun, that was the best." I smiled and looked at him.

"You're the sweetest girl around, thanks for letting me take you." He looked at my lips.

I stared at his lips. He leaned in to kiss me, but we were interrupted by a knock on my window. I turned around and saw Ava staring at Jack. I didn't want to open my door.

"Who's that?"

"Just stare at her and maybe she'll go away." I said.

She gave me a confused look.

"Paige open the goddamn door." She continuously tried to open it with a dumb smile on her face.

"Okay, unlock it." I said to Jack as i rolled my eyes.

"Hi, I'm Ava.. and what in the what, Paige?! Why are you in his car?"

"Thanks again, I'll talk to you later." I said to Jack, climbing out of my seat.

"Anytime! Call me. Bye... Ava." He looked extremely puzzled.

I shut my door and waved to Jack. When he was a way down the road, Ava playfully hit my shoulder.

"DID YOU NOT GIVE ANY THOUGHT TO NOTIFY ME THAT YOU WERE JUST HANGING OUT WITH JACK GILINSKY? HOW DO YOU KNOW HIM?" She was pretty shocked.

"Hey, calm down! I met him at work last night. I was going to tell you this morning but he came and got me at 5!"

"You met him at work?" She threw her hands up. "Oh, and I bet he was with Nash too, huh." She sounded sarcastic. I stood in silence.

"You've got to be KIDDING ME." She got excited and covered her mouth with her hands.

"He was with the whole Magcon crew..." I looked at the tulips and rubbed my arm, smiling a little bit.

"I... I can't even talk to you right now. You know this has been my dream for a long time." She looked her shoes and folded her arm, but I can tell she was being slightly sarcastic.

"You really don't need to be worked up. It's okay! I'll probably see him again, and you can meet Nash while he's still staying with Jack, maybe. You didn't lose any chances! You still have one." I suggested.

"You mean, he's not gone?" She looked up at me.

"All of them are in Omaha." I looked at her face. It suddenly lit up.

"Paige, I'm so sorry for getting worked up. I thought I wouldn't be able to meet them, and got kind of jealous when I saw you in that car." She looked really sympathetic.

"It's fine. You actually might get to meet Nash." I smiled.

She looked like she was about to explode. "AAAAAAAHHHHH!" She grabbed my shoulders and shook them back and forth.

We have a date with the Magcon boys.
