Chapter 70 - Pre-Show

     It was about 5 minutes until the meet and greet. The fans were outside waiting, chanting, and screaming. I was across the room smiling at Jack. I was the person that'd be handing out the posters and the laminated badges on the way out the door.

   Finally, it was time to open the doors. I immediately got a little nervous. They swung the door open and halted the girls so they couldn't get in yet. Most of them were screaming and eager to come in. Jack and Jack waved at them and smiled. A girl peaked in her head and looked around. When she spotted me, she waved. I waved and smiled.

    "PAIGE IS HERE!" She yelled to her friend. Someone screamed.

    Jack glanced and me and smirked. He gave a thumbs up.

    I took out my phone and tweeted for the first time in days.

   "@paigemholland: I see all u guys! This is going to be great. #excited. :)"

    They started releasing the girls. I admired the way they got so excited and cried over Jack and Jack. It's such a cute experience, because I know I'd do the same thing.

    When it was time for people to start exiting, girls even got excited over me.

   "Paige!" A cute girl with brown hair held her hands out for a hug. I gladly accepted.

    "Hey! What's your name?" I asked.

    "Maya! And oh my god you're so pretty in person."

    "Thank you so much!" I grinned. We took a picture together, then I handed her poster and lanyard. Jack took glances at me, smiling each time.

    Almost every girl wanted a picture with me, and pretty much everyone knew who I was. At one point I shook my head smiling at how cute and sweet some of them were.

   Eventually the last group of girls went through the meet and greet and and came to me.

   "Paige! Can I have a hug?" One of them asked.

   "Of course!" I hugged her.

    "How come you haven't tweeted in so long?! We thought you were dead or something!" One of them laughed.

    My smile quickly vanished and I gulped.

   "Uhh, yeah- I'll have to get in the habit of tweeting more often, sorry." I smiled.

   "What about Ava?"

    My heart beat sped up a little bit faster.

   "Um, I'm not going to say anything right now about that, I, um, I'll make an announcement tonight, is that okay?" I said.

   She looked concerned. "What happened?"

   "I don't want the word to get around the wrong way. You'll know tonight." I tucked my lips in my mouth.

   "Okay.. Well, thanks. You're really pretty by the way."

    "Thank you so much." I smiled and handed the girls their items. Security closed the doors and we all headed backstage to the lounge.

    "They all really liked you." Jack said, putting a cracker into his mouth.

   I shrugged. "Guess so." I took a bite of a cookie.

   "Someone asked me about Ava. So I guess I'm going to have to make that announcement tonight.. Somehow." I bit the inside of my cheek.

     Jack nodded. "If you don't want to, I can.." 

    "Nah. I can do it." I shook my head and took another bite.

   "What do you guys do with all the presents and letters out there?" I asked.

   "Security brings it back here during the show and we go through as much as we can after the show. We try to keep everything. It's so hard." Jack J said.

    "I accidentally touched some girls butt and she winked at me." Kenny laughed.

   I laughed. "Was she cute?"

   "She was like 12." We all laughed.

   "I'm going to go out to the bus and change into shorts. It's already too hot." I mentioned.

   "Alright." Jack nodded.

   I went back out to where the meet and greet was and exited through the door. Immediately, girls started screaming and yelling my name. I smiled as I walked down the steps.

   "PAIGE! CAN WE GET A PICTURE TOGETHER?"

   I suddenly heard 10x the screams. I looked behind as Jack walked out the door. He walked over to me. All the girls were yelling.

   "We should go take a picture with them!" I smiled.

   "Alright." He grinned. We walked over to the gate and said hi to everyone. Jack signed a few things and took pictures on peoples phones.

   "Can we do a big group picture?" I yelled.

   They went crazy. I'm guessing that's a yes.

   Jack handed my phone to a security guard. He stood way back because of how many people there were.

    He put his arm around me and smiled. I grinned like a kid.

   "1...2...3!" The guard took the picture.

   "I'll post this on Twitter." I told everybody.

   People started shouting their usernames and asking us to follow them. I got as many as I could, and then went out to the bus before the show started. Jack came with.

   I opened my suitcase and grabbed a pair of jean shorts. I pulled my pants down and before I could get a leg out, Jack pushed me over.

   I started laughing. "Don't even get me started."

   I sat on the ground and took my jeans off. He stole my clothes and ran to the front of the RV.

   I shook my head and tried not to laugh.

   "You're such a kid."

  "You have to give me a kiss if you want them back." He waved them around.
