I stood up from my chair and began walking out of the room. My phone vibrated with a call from my mom.

"Hold on, I need to answer this." I told Jack. I walked down the hall to where it was a little more private.

   "Hello?"

"Hey Paige, we're going to plant some Lily's. Do you want to join? I just know that they're your favo-"

"Mom, please. I'm at the hospital right now. I'm busy."

   "Oh, okay, I understand."

My stomach ached after what I just said. I felt bad.

"Can you hold it off until I come home? I really would love to." I said nicely.

"Yeah, we can do that. Oh, here, your dad wants to talk." I heard her hand the phone over.

   "Paige?" He said.

   "Yeah, I'm here."

"Why are you at the hospital?"

   "Just visiting Cam."

   "With Jack?"

   "Yeah?"

"Why are you suddenly with him all the time?"

   "I don't know. I like him."

"Please don't get yourself into trouble."

   "He's not trouble dad."

"I just don't want him to hurt you."

  "I don't think he would..." I replied.

"Just, be careful, okay? I won't limit you from him because he seems like a nice boy. Tell him I said thank you for the tweet he posted about the company. We've been getting more calls already."

"Wow that's great! I'll tell him."

"Okay, be safe. Love you. I'll hand the phone over to mom."

   "Okay, love you."

   "Hello?" my mom said.

   "Still me." I replied.

"Guess what I did?" She said.

   "Uh, what?"

"So I listened to Jack's music, I like the one I think it's called Doing It Right, yeah that one."

   I laughed. "Oh my god."

"I love when he says he doesn't give a damn, because sometimes I don't give a damn either."

I laughed even harder and covered my face with my hand.

"What's funny? I really like it, it's so relatable."

"I'm glad you like it." I said giggling. I heard my dad singing it in the background.

"Your dad likes it too! We feel like teenagers when we listen to it." I pictured them in the kitchen, dancing like they're still in the 70's.

I couldn't control my laughter. "Oh my god that's so embarrassing."

"Should me and dad sing it for Jack?"

   "MOM."

She laughed. "Okay well I'll let you go before dad breaks out into the high notes. Have fun! Love you."

"Okay I love you too, see ya." I smiled.

"OH MY GOD CAMERON!!" I heard Cam's mom yell. I got goosebumps and took a look at Jack in the waiting room before sprinting down the hall and into his room.
