Chapter 31 - Reputation

    "Well, I wanted to get a picture with the boys but I can't get through the crowd and I have to leave really soon. I was going to ask for a picture, but my phone died." She wiped a tear.

   I grabbed a makeup remover wipe and Ava's mascara from my purse.

   "I'm going to wipe all that runny mascara under your eyes off and put some of this on. I'll jump you to the front of the crowd to meet the boys. You can't cry this off though, it was like 15 dollars." I smiled at her.

   She immediately hugged me as tight as possible.

   "PAIGE, YOU ARE MY NEW FAVORITE PERSON. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!" She said loudly.

   "No problem, really! So let's get you all cleaned up and hurry and get over there." I started to wipe all the mascara from her face.

   "So what's your name?" I asked.

   "Macy." She replied.

   "Oh nice! I'd introduce myself but you already know who I am." I giggled.

   "Yeah I do! So wait, how'd you meet the boys?"

   "I met them at work. I was their waitress. Jack and Cam asked me for my number after they ate and we've all just been friends ever since."

   "Are you Jack's girlfriend?"

   "No."

   "Do you want to be?"

   I smiled. "Maybe."

  She laughed. I put some of Ava's new mascara on her lashes. She actually looked pretty.

   "This is the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me." She stated.

   "I just know if I were in your shoes I'd want the same thing." I said.

   We both got up and I walked her over to the boys.

   "EMERGENCY!" I yelled. They all looked over and me and Macy.

   "Her phone died and she wants a picture!" I pointed at her.

    All the boys came over and greeted her and we all got in a group pose for a picture. A fan used my phone to take it. Matt took a selfie with her on his phone and tweeted it and followed her. She walked over to me after thanking the boys.

   "So what's your Twitter?" I asked, ready to type it in.

   "@MacyMagcon." I went to her profile and followed her. I noticed that she had almost as many followers as me.

   "Alright I'll tweet the picture!" I said with a smile.

   "This is the best day of my life and its all because of you. I can't thank you enough. you're the nicest person ever. I seriously love you so much, thank you!" She hugged me.

   "You're welcome Macy. Happy I could help." I smiled at her and watched as she left. I wonder why she was so rushed.

   I tweeted the picture.

   "Group pic, feauturing @MacyMagcon ! Her phone died so here you go. Glad I could help you! :) xoxo. pictwitter.com/a4hEz...."

   After tons of small talk and selfies, the boys finally got through everyone and decided to head out. We said goodbye to all of the girls and started heading to the airport because Shawn and Carter's planes were both leaving in a couple hours. I let Matt drive my car because he begged me. I rode shotgun and scrolled through Twitter.

    "@MacyMagcon: Paige is THE sweetest girl!Totally went out of her way to follow me and be the nicest girl I've met. THANK YOU. pictwitter.com/aP82z...."

   I smiled.

   "I have 47 thousand followers now." I told Matt.

   "Welcome to the crew." He grinned.

   "Daaamn Paige, you're famous." Cameron said in a sarcastic voice. I giggled.

   "So how was your first meet and greet? Hayes asked.

   "It was amazing! I loved it. I was surprised anyone even asked me for a picture let alone almost all of them! It's insane."

   "When that girl told you and Ava to move out of the way for the group picture I was so pissed but I just didn't say anything." Matt said.

   "Yeah that was kinda rude." Hayes stated.

   "I guess I kinda understand.. I mean I'm not even that famous and I'm totally new."

   "Yeah but you're still apart of the squad!!" Cameron said.

   I smiled. "That's true."

   When we arrived to the airport, we all got out and said goodbye to Shawn and Carter.

   "Bye Paige, thanks for everything. Hope I see you again soon." Shawn hugged me.

   "See ya, and yeah I hope we get to hangout soon!" I smiled. We exchanged numbers.

   "Bye Paige! It was great seeing you, I hope you stay a part of the crew." Carter gave me a hug.

   "Thanks! And I will, hope I see you sometime again."

   "You will." He smiled and exchanged numbers with me.

   "Bye!" We all waved at Shawn and Carter as they walked inside.

   "I'm gonna miss them!" I told Jack. He didn't even look at me. In fact, he totally ignored me and got into his car and shut the door without a word. The rest of the boys piled into the cars and we all agreed on going to In n Out burger.

   When we got there, we all stood in line. I stood next to Jack.

   "Hey?" I looked at him. He looked at and me and then looked back ahead.

   "Jack." I said. He didn't turn his head. He had his hands in his pockets and his head tilted slightly back. He looked annoyed as hell.

   "Jack, please."

   "Next." The cashier said. Jack went up and ordered. We all ordered separately. When we got our food, we sat down at 2 booths right next to each other. I purposely went out of my way to hurry and sit next to Jack. What is his problem? All the boys were talking.

   "Are you okay?" I asked.

   "Mhm" He replied.

   "Yeah right, what's going on?"

   He ignored me and took a bite of his burger.

   "If you don't tell me what's going on then I'll leave." I threatened. I was talking quiet so the guys wouldn't pay attention.

   He scowled. "Go ahead."
