I couldn't bring myself to tweet about her. Not yet.

About 10 minutes passed and the boys started walking inside to rehearse.

"Gonna stay there or come in?" Jack asked. I looked up at him through my sunglasses.

"I'm gonna call my mom, then I'll be in." I looked down.

   "Okay.." He hesitantly walked away.

   I dialed my mom.

   "Hey." She said.

    "Hi mom."

    "Doing alright? What's going on?"

"Just about to go inside to watch them rehearse. I'm doing fine. I um, called Nash. I told him."

She sighed. "How'd he take it?"

   "Not well. He hung up."

"I understand. We'll all find a solid place soon."

    "Yeah."

"So um, her funeral, it's on Wednesday.. The 20th. You should be here."

I stared at the concrete. "I will be." I picked at the stitching on my shorts.

"Please try to have fun tonight."

   "I will."

"Oh, your dad wants to talk to you."

   "Hi Paige." He said.

   "Hey dad."

"I really hope everything is going okay. I have a little surprise for you, just something to cheer you up. I'll give it to you when you get here."

   I smiled. "What is it?"

"You know what the word surprise means right?"

   I laughed. "Okay."

   "I love you. Have fun."

   "Love you too."

My mom came back on the phone. "Love you sweetie, see ya."

"Love you too, bye." I hung up.

I walked around to the back of the building, taking my time. I entered through the back door and walked down the little hall. In a room ahead, I could hear whispering. I slowly tip-toed to the edge of the doorway and listened. It was Jack, and I think he was on the phone with somebody.

He laughed. "Nah, I miss you too." He said quietly. "I still want you." "Okay, I can't talk now. I'll talk to you later gorgeous."

I listened to every word. I quickly ran back out the back door before he saw me. I stormed into the RV and started packing my stuff back up. Tears fell from my cheek. He's cheating.

I slammed my clothes into the suitcase and shoved them inside as hard as I could. Once I was done, I snatched the flowers from my bed and crumpled them up. I tore them apart and threw them in Jack's bunk. Yeah. Love you too.

I struggled to carry both suitcases down the step, but I managed. My arms hurt like hell.

There was nothing stopping me.

I began walking down the road. Once I was out of sight from the building, I'd call an Uber driver. I reached the end of the road and turned the corner. So this is heartbreak. I felt like I've endlessly been crying for the past couple days.

   I dialed my mom.

"Hey, what's going on?" She answered.

"I need to use that emergency money. I'm coming home." I cried.

"Why are you crying? What happened?"

"Jack is talking to another girl. Ava's gone. I'm emotionally drained. I just want to go back to work and my old life. I want everything to be the way it was." I sat on the sidewalk.

"He's what? How do you know this?"

"I heard him on the phone. Stop asking me questions. I'm done with questions." I wiped my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I really am. I just want to make sure that you're not going to regret doing this. Please don't make a mistake."

"Mistake? Jack doesn't need me. He has someone else. I'm coming home."

"Okay. Well, go ahead. You can use the money on the card. I'll talk to you when you get here." She sounded sad and disappointed. I hung up.

I quickly bought a ticket on my phone. I can't even tell you how expensive it was.

My plane leaves in 4 hours, but I'd much rather sit at the airport than here. I called an Uber driver.

About 10 minutes later, she arrived. It was the same driver that dropped us off yesterday.

I put my luggage in the back and got inside.

"Hey girlie, where we going?" She looked at me through the mirror and discovered that I was crying. I think she recognized me.

"It's you! Hey, is everything okay?"

"Just to the airport please." I looked at her through my watery eyes. I didn't want to answer her question. She gave me a sympathetic look and began driving.

I looked at my phone. Jack was calling.
