I walked into the room.
"We're going to do a video and explain a couple of things. We're all going to be in it, wanna join?" Jack asked.
"You too Ava?" I looked at her.
"Of course."
"Okay, let's do it."
Jack put his phone on a tripod and we backed up far enough so you could see all of us.
"So I can just start by saying what happened to him, and how we don't know, and the trip to the hospital." Nash said.
"At the end, we should all add something about him. Each one of us." Matt said.
Everyone agreed. Jack started the video.
"Hey guys, this is going to be a quick info video about Cam because we know you guys have a lot of questions and we're trying to get them answered." Nash began.
He explained everything. Afterwards, he added a few words. Then Taylor, Carter, Shawn, Sam, Matt, Hayes, Jack J, Jack G, and Ava. I was last.
"We all still have a lot of questions, and we are praying for Cam because we know that in the end, he's going to be just fine and he's going to have tons of support to get through this. Thanks to everyone for using the hash tag #PrayForCam and sending kind wishes. He's lucky to have you guys."
"We're all going to get through this, and so will Cam. We'll for sure give you updates via Twitter as much as possible." Matt said.
"Thanks for the support." Jack said. He shut off the video.
It was silent. Nobody was moving.
"He's going to be okay.." said Shawn.
Carter rubbed the back of his head. I stared at the wall and thought about when I met Cameron at the restaurant.
"You're trending on Twitter, Paige." Matt held his phone up to me. I was.
"It's so weird seeing that." I shrugged.
"Well Jack's girlfriend is bound to get some attention." Taylor said.
"Um, we aren't really together." I said.
"We aren't?" Jack looked at me. He laughed. "Just kidding."
I playfully rolled my eyes.
I heard Cameron's voice. I looked around. It was just Nash playing Cam's Snapchat story. He looked devastated.
Everyone turned their eyes and looked at his phone. "Sorry." He looked at all of us.
"I was hoping he was coming in here and telling us that he's alright and everything is going to be just fine." Hayes fidgeted with his hands and looked at the ground.
"Listen, we all feel mad depressed right now but it doesn't have to be this way. Cam wouldn't want this." Matt looked at all of us. I leaned my head on Jack's shoulder. He rubbed my back.
"Yeah you're right. We just need to cheer up a little. Everything will work out." Jack said. I felt his voice through his chest.
I wanted to go home and sleep, but I didn't want to just walk out on the boys. I wanted them to be happy. It was pretty damn hard with what's going on around us, but they deserve it. I stood up.
"Who wants McDonald's?" I threw my hands up.
Jack smiled. "Me"
"Me" Carter raised his hand.
"Me" Taylor said smiling
"Me" "Me" "Me" all of the boys were replying. It sounded like those birds from Nemo. I laughed. I took out my phone and took orders from the boys. It was like when we first met... But we were missing one thing. Cameron.
