Stiles called pack meeting at the morgue, which felt ironic. Or at least, mocking. The pack seemed to be getting smaller and smaller which saddened me. I found that funny considering I wasn't even a part of it in the first place. There were five of us willing to meet. Melissa, Scott, Stiles, Parrish, and me.

Everyone gathered around a metal slab to talk about Lydia.

"It could be a side effect of shock," Parrish offered.

"She's catatonic. It was Theo digging his way through her mind," Stiles said confidently.

"I knew we shouldn't have trusted him," I mumbled.

"Why would he do that? What was he looking for?" Melissa reasoned.

"Why? Because he's a freaking lunatic," I grumbled.

Scott sighed, leaning forward onto his hands. "The same thing he's always looking for. An advantage."

"So what did he gain by trying to kill Stilinski?" Parrish asked. Hearing the last name said seemed to bring everything home for me. Stiles' dad is dying, and we have no idea why.

"It left me alone with Liam," Scott answered.

"What, so Sheriff is fighting his way to life just because Theo wanted you and Liam to dog fight?" I asked, trying hard to hold back my seething tone. Admittedly, some of it might've slipped in there. I couldn't help but be angry with everything going on.

"Theo wanted to make sure no one would be there to stop Liam from killing me."

Stiles' voice was breaking with emotion as he said, "So he gutted my dad as a distraction."

"We need to find this kid," Parrish said.

"Isn't that a little dangerous? Especially since he almost killed my kid?" Melissa said.

I sighed, "He's almost killed a lot of people. Some he actually killed. He needs to be put down or something. I don't want him hurting anyone else."

"He said he didn't want my dad to die," Stiles revealed. I groaned and leaned forward onto my elbows on the slab, hiding my head between my arms. This was too confusing.

"And you believe him?" Parrish asked, his voice laced with surprise.

"He told me where to find him. So maybe he also knows how to save him," Stiles said as if that solved everything.

"This doesn't make any sense. Why would he kill everyone he doesn't need, but keep Sheriff alive?" I asked, rubbing my face between my hands stressfully. Stiles shook his head at the ground.

"I don't know, but I need to find out."

"What are you gunna do? Talk to him?" Melissa blurted, her arms folded across her chest.

"Yeah, if it saves my dad," Stiles snapped.

"I'll come with you. He doesn't know I'm alive. Maybe that gives us an advantage," Scott planned.

"Well, if it does, it seems like we're wasting our ace before the big pot. That is, if all we're planning to do is talk to him," I said, crossing my arms.

"He'll know you're there anyway," Stiles said, as he began to pace. "I just need to talk to him. Not fight him." Stiles headed for the door.

"Stiles," I said, and he turned at the sound of my voice. "You can't go alone."

"Does anyone even know how to find him?" Parrish pointed out.

"We don't have to find him. He'll come to me," Stiles said like it was the surest thing he'd ever said.
