I walked in slowly, taking in my surroundings as they followed me in. Malia barged forth, not even waiting to see if there was a booby trap, so I sighed and picked up my speed. So much for being careful. I stopped in the middle of the room when I noticed every shelf in here—and there were a lot—was completely empty. There wasn't a single weapon in sight.

"Okay. Where are all the guns?" Malia's eyes jumped between every empty box and shelf, searching for something. We weren't here to blow up nothing.

"They knew we were coming," Scott breathed with fear. "Start looking. They must've left something." We split off to separate ends of the room. I opened a wooden box to find that it, too, was empty. Not surprising, but still disappointing. Then I realized something.

"It's a trap. Out. Get out now, we have to go!" I pushed both of them towards the door, but Scott stopped suddenly. "What? What is it?"

"That scent."

I sniffed the air, surprised to find that Jiang and Tierney's scent filled my nose. Were they trapped in here as bait? Our noses led us all to a door on the left.

"Guys, you need to leave. Now," Argent said over the speaker. Scott and I looked at each other both thinking the same thing. If Jiang and Tierney were in here, we needed to get them out first. I may not trust them, but I couldn't leave them to die.

We ran to the sliding door and started to pull on it. Even with all three of us yanking, it was giving us trouble. It wasn't locked, it was more like something was blocking it, so we pulled harder, all three of us straining.

"No, no, no. Don't open that door!" Argent warned. Right after, something gave and the door slid wide open. Just like that, alarms went off, beeps sounded, and doors slammed shut. The sounds of industrial-sized locks clicked on the only door that exited this room. We were trapped.

"Ohh, nooo..." I sang worriedly. "Stiles is sooo gunna kill me." Malia ran over to the door, pushing on it with all her strength. I didn't try to stop her because no matter what I said, she was going to try. I didn't waste my energy, instead turning to walk into the small room we'd just opened. It was the size of a closet, but it seemed like some sort of museum, and not the kind people want to see. It almost looked like something that a serial killer would have. Like Ted Bundy's victim shrine. I really hoped that's not what was happening here.

On the wall hung a large map with 7 red dots on it. There was on pasted right on Beacon Hills. Well, technically, it was more than Beacon Hills since the dots were large. It spanned California, but I suspected the dot was meant for that specific town. What I didn't know was why. The dots seemed so randomly placed. There was one in Brazil, Greenland, China, Russia, Egypt, and Spain. These places had seemingly nothing in common, but Gerard managed to find something. What was it?

I returned my sights to the shrine on the right as Scott stared at the map. There were claws, but it was attached to an entire hand, fangs, and hair all in showcases. There was even a pair of werewolf ears. I wanted to vomit all over it. The thing that caught my eyes was the large piece of flayed skin trapped between two pieces of display glass. I stared at it for a second, recognizing the Satomi pack tattoo of circles representing stacked rocks. It reeked of Jiang and I felt my chest constrict. This was disgusting. How could someone do this to anyone? Gerard was so fucked up in the head.

"I think I found Jiang and Tierney," I breathed.

"Where?" Malia asked, running in.

"Right here." Scott and Malia peered over my shoulder at the skin. "That's all that left of them." I backed up, bumping into Scott. I didn't pay him any mind, pushing my way between them. I walked to the other side of the small room, folding my arms over myself as I breathed deeply.
