Scott pushed his hand through, wondering if it only worked on Parrish. He was met with no resistance, meaning the Ash really was gone.

"He's burning it right out of the walls," Scott hummed. I pushed his back gently, encouraging him to start going through since we actually could. I was pretty sure Stiles was still down here, and I wanted to make sure he was okay.

We followed Parrish down into the tunnels. We always seemed to find our way back to here, didn't we? Since the barrier was gone, I could hear everything again, and Stiles sounded perfectly safe. He had Lydia.

Unfortunately, the safe part didn't last long because Lydia told him to run. My guess was that Valack had succeeded in cutting her head open, and now her Banshee scream wasn't going to be contained. And in such a closed space like this, not only would that kill Stiles, but the echo of it would probably kill all of us, too.

Parrish rounded the corner where Stiles and Lydia were, and he yanked Stiles back by his shoulder. Lydia was clutching her ears while on her knees, and she was sweating profusely. Her hair was wet and stringy and it was blood red in one part on her head. Her mouth was hung open like she was getting ready to scream.

As Stiles stumbled back, I grabbed him and started to run, forcing him to run with me. Lydia gasped, taking in a gulp of air for the murdering scream she was about to release.

And then she did.

It was a mere second of a scream before it was suddenly muffled when Parrish wrapped his arms around her, but it was enough to send me stumbling to the ground and clutching at my own ears. There was a large blast from the magnitude of her sound, only worsening the pain in my head.

All six arms were somehow around me or touching me in some way as I let out my own small scream. I couldn't hear my own scream, of course. All I could hear was ringing, and I just knew my ears were bleeding. My hands dropped from my ears as the pain stopped, and I looked up to see three faces watching me and three mouths asking me questions I couldn't hear.

I looked over to see Parrish emerging from the dust and smoke filling the air, and he was carrying Lydia in his arms. She was alive, but in pain, and he was back to himself. Stiles helped me to my feet, one of his arms around my waist while he held mine over his shoulders. Parrish asked a question I couldn't hear then Scott started running. Liam quickly took the lead as Lydia and Parrish took the rear.

I groaned as Stiles forced me to run, keeping up with them. By the time we got to a gate, I could hear again for the most part. That gate was thrumming with electricity the last time I saw it, and when Liam grabbed it, I yelled for him to stop. Liam forced the gate apart, and nothing happened beside the opening of a gate. Where was the electricity?

"I told you," Liam smiled, bouncing excitedly on his feet. He ran through as I shook my head at him, and we all followed in after. Stiles finally let me go once he knew that I was healed, and it made running exponentially easier on the both of us.

There was a ladder against the wall that led up to a grate, and that crate led right outside the gates of Eichen House. One by one, we all worked out way up, working as a team to help Lydia and Parrish up. Finally, we were all at the top, safely outside of Eichen House as Scott put the grate lid back on like it'd never been touched. Stiles' jeep was fast approaching, and it screeched to a stop in front of us. Malia and Kira got out of it.

"Is she okay?" Malia asked as Parrish got Lydia to stand on her feet.

"No, we need to go. Give me the keys. We gotta get her to the clinic," Scott said. Malia placed the keys to the jeep in Scott's hand.
