Malia got free from Scott's hold—I suspect he didn't try very hard to hold her back—and dragged Theo to the floor. She sat on him as she repeatedly reared her fist back and punched him in the face. I thought about getting her off, but I couldn't be bothered. Besides, Theo needed a good beating for his actions.

"It's okay, you don't have to stop," Theo whispered, his face bleeding and raw.

Malia's claws flicked out. "I won't."

Scott grabbed her wrist, stopping her from killing him like we all knew she was going to do. Not that Theo didn't deserve it, but I didn't really want him to die. At least not by the hands of my pack. If something else killed him however, say, the Wild Hunt, I wouldn't have any issue with that.

Liam helped drag Malia back and she growled at him, jerking at him in warning, and he backed up into me while Scott eased her nerves.

"Slow down. He's going back in the ground."

"You can't!" Liam blurted. "He remembers Stiles."

I looked down at him struggling to get up off the floor, and it scared me that with that simple phrase, I didn't want Theo gone anymore.

"Scott remembers Stiles. Y/N remembers him. Lydia and I remember him," Malia spat at Liam, clearly pissed at him for reviving Theo.

Liam ignored her, turning his eyes to me like he was about to convince me. "The Dread Doctors knew all about the Wild Hunt. He can help us."

"Or he could kill us," Scott retorted.

"Noshiko gave me the sword. He's my responsibility."

"You're damn right, he is," I snapped. "You brought him back, you deal with him."

Liam nodded and Theo scoffed from the floor, sitting up against the cabinets. "It's so awkward when families fight."

"Shut up!" the three of us growled at him.

Hayden joined the conversation to ease the hostility. "You're all right. If Theo tries anything, we'll send him back to the Skinwalkers. But for right now-."

"He goes back now," Scott said.

"Except Liam's the one with the sword," Theo interrupted.

"Shut up!" came our reply again, except this time it came from everyone in the room. He frowned as I slapped a hand on Scott and Liam's chest, grabbed their shirts, and dragged them into another room away from Theo. Malia and Hayden stayed behind to watch Theo, and Liam winced at the fact that I was pulling a little too hard on his chest hairs. He had more than Scott and Stiles combined. I guess it wasn't saying much. Scott didn't have any.

"You don't trust me?" Liam asked us, both of us crossing our arms at him. I felt a little guilt-tripped by that question.

"Of course we trust you, Liam," I sighed.

"It's him we don't trust." Scott narrowed his eyes at Liam. "Do you?"

"No, but I think we can use him."

"Remember who he is. He got into your head and you tried to kill me."

I nodded, adding, "And when that didn't work, Theo actually killed him. And Tracy, and Josh, and his sister. He almost tore this pack apart." Liam's lips pulled into a knot, looking at us like he was annoyed we brought it up.

"But this might be our only chance to get Stiles back," Liam said. He knew exactly what to say to get to me, and I hated it.

I looked down, my arms still crossed as I tried to put up a mental barrier between me and Liam so he couldn't sense my thoughts so easily.
