Lila
We got the whole pack together accept for the few at the boarders and the elders. They don't come to these types of things. At least that is what I heard. Right now I'm helping get fire wood with Delilah. I to grab two arm full's of sticks and start to walk. The sun has gone down some and it's kinda dark. But I can still see the small fire Jackson started.
I was right at the edge of the forest when a person stepped front of me. I almost ran into them but I stopped and looked up.
"I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." I apologized. She smiled all smug like.
"Didn't expect you to half pint." She crossed her arms. My smile faded away.
"Excuse me?" I asked meekly.
"Man are you deaf too?" She scoffed. "So your the Alphas mate?" I nodded and shivered a bit. It was getting cold quick. "Well this is sad. He has a freak little girl for a mate. Don't worry about that though. He'll be mine again by the end of the week."
"What are you talking about?" I asked my voice wavering a bit.
"I'm talking about how my tongue will be down his throat while you run away crying." She growled. Then she pushed me back, sending the sticks flying up. I put my forearms over my face when they hit making them get scratched them up really bad. They were quickly pushed away. I saw Jason. He pulled me up and wiped away a tear.
"What happened? It was Jenna wasn't it?" So that's her name. Then I heard Landon approaching.
"What happened to her? Did you do that?" I saw him clench and unclench his face.
"No it was-" I slapped my hand over his mouth and shook my head. I moved my hand and tried to go to the house but Landon grabbed my arm. I had to pull away. I don't wanna see him right now.
"Let her go." I heard Jason say. He did. I ran back to the house.
"Follow her please." Landon said to someone. I went to a bathroom on the second floor. I cleaned my cuts and sat on the toilet to cry. What was her problem? I didn't even know her. Then there was a knock on the door. Jason did follow me.
"Lila?" He called softly.
"Go away." I said weakly.
"I'm not leaving until you open the door."
"Go away." I said again. I'm sulking at this point.
"Nope. I'm just gonna sing 'Do Wanna Build a Snowman?' until you open the door." I grinned a bit. He did the three knocks too.
"Elsa" He said with a squeaky voice. "Do you wanna build a snowman? Come on lets go and play!" I let out a laugh when he held out notes. "I don't know anymore words. Please come out the door. Don't make me look like a doooork!" I laughed again and opened the door.
"That was the best thing I've ever heard." I let my face drop again.
"Well I'm the best thing ever." I can beg to differ though. I do have a mate.
"Do you know her?" I asked changing the subject.
"Yeah. She is the pack slu- uhm." He caught himself.
"I'm 13. That word is in my vocabulary. Don't worry." I patted his shoulder awkwardly.
"Well she's the pack slut. Some stuff happened between her and Landon a while back. He was supposed to find his mate at 18 but that was 3 years ago. Even though that's not long but he got mad and lonely. She was the rebound." Then he stopped talking like he said something he wasn't supposed to. "I wasn't supposed to say anything." He added on.
"Well I'm his mate I deserve to know, right?" I laughed coldly. So that's what she meant by again, huh?
"What did she say?" He sat down on the floor and crossed his legs. I did the same.
"That she would shove her tongue down his throat and he would be hers by the end of the week. Then she pushed me." I showed him the small cuts that seemed mediocre now.
"She could be kicked out if the pack for that."
"Why?" I asked dumbly.
"Well she attacked the Luna physically and verbally. I should tell Landon." His eyes started to go white. He was mind linking him.
"No!" I yelled. "Please don't!" He came back in a second.
"But I have to. I can't lie to him or keep secrets from the Alpha."
"I'm Luna right?" He nodded. "I'm the Female Alpha so I say that you don't tell Landon." He opened his mouth then closed it again.
"Okay." He nodded submissively.
"Thank you." I sniffed. Then suddenly the front door opened.
"He wants to know what happened." He whispered.
"I'm a good liar." I winked and whipped up more tears. Landon came around the corner. "-Then I fell in front of you. It was so embarrassing. I don't even know if anyone else saw me." I acted like I was finishing off my red-faced demise.
"It's okay. I was the only one who saw. I know it." He played along.
"You fell? That's what happened?" Landon stood behind Jason with his arms crossed.
"Yeah." I wiped away the fake tears.
"I know your lying." He said simply. "Jason we can talk later." He got up like a sad puppy and walked away.
"How?" I challenged.
"I can see in your head." He squatted down and tapped my temple.
"Well that's no good is it." I mumbled.
"I'm going to forget what happened with Jenna. But Jason shouldn't be spreading my personal business."
"I deserve to know don't I?" I stood up and looked down at him.
"Not now. Not like this." He shook his head and sat on his knees. He was below eyes level like this. I'm very short for a 13 year old. I'm only 5'2.
"Do you wanna finish the bon fire?" I shook my head. "Then I will take you to bed." I regretfully slept in his bed fully knowing what he's done in it. Little did I know what was to happen the next day...
