Lila's P.O.V
I sat there for at 5 minutes trying to understand what just happened. But then I started crying. I know Jane and Jayden heard that. I laid back down where he was laying because I miss him again. I guess what I said was selfish but I haven't had a party since I was 7. Since there was no friends or family to celebrate with we always just went out to dinner and that's it.
I don't think he knows that. Maybe if I tell him he will understand why. I don't think he wants to talk right now though. Maybe since he partially marked me I can talk to Oliver.
Oliver?, I called out in my head. Within seconds I had an anwser.
I'm sorry sweetheart. I don't know what's gotten into him. I think he was just cranky from lack of sleep, He said sympathetically.
Or he doesn't like me because I'm too young, I stated crying really hard.
No no don't say that. He's just stupid. Your perfect. I heard what you said about your birthday. If he would've known he probably wouldn't have said that. I'm sorry he made you feel this, He whimpered slightly. Then the bedroom door opened.
I have to go Oli. I love you, I said.
I love you too sweetheart, He said happily."Hey I heard the commotion." Jayden was in the door way.
"I'm sorry if I woke you." I sat up wiping my nose.
"I woke up because of Landon screaming at you." He studied my face. "Who were you just talking to?"
"Oliver. I wanted to tell Landon why I acted the way I did. But I didn't think he'd wanna hear from me so I reached out to Oliver. I think if he knew he'd understand." I sniffed and Jayden sat at the end of the bed.
"Can I know what happened?" I nodded and explained the argument. About why he screamed at me and then left. "That was a dick move but he didn't know." I nodded again. "You know he was in the living room for like 10 minutes after he slammed the door. But then he got up and left. I think he heard you cry."
"Well it was like he hit me. I would've rather he hit me though. It would've hurt less."
Landon's P.O.V (Surprise!!!)
I sat in the living room trying to sleep. But then I heard her cry and I had to leave before I lost it. I hurt her but she just didn't understand how crucial the situation is. Oliver blocked me too and I don't know when he's coming back. I went home so I could try and sleep this off. But like many times before, my Mom caught me trying to sneak in.
"I thought you were staying with Lila tonight?" She got to me before I could reach my room.
"We had a fight about the party thing." I mumbled. God knows I don't need a lecture right now.
"So you thought the only solution was to leave?" She said with disappointment. "I thought I raised you better than that."
"Look mom you don't get having a mate that young. It can be stressful. She-"
"She is your mate. It shouldn't matter if she's young. You should have the same patience and love for her as if she was the same age of you. I can understand teens being stressful. I have one teen and I raised you. But her being your mate should come first, not her age." I was taken back by her words.
"But-"
"And not to mention her parents left when she was 4. Have you ever thought that maybe the way her childhood was had something to do with the fight? What did you say to her?"
"Why can't you just grow up." I mumbled while looking at the ground. She sighed.
"So did you think about that?" I ran my had down my face.
"No. I didn't." I feel terrible now. "I'm just so tired and scared. What if they get to you or Jane or Jayden or Li-" I choked up saying her name. Just the thought of her being hurt made me cry. My mom wrapped her arms around my shoulders and rubbed my back. I hugged her back and cried.
"You need to say these things to her. She probably doesn't understand what's happening. Communication is what decides the fate of any relationship." She let go and wiped the tears off my eyes.
"Thanks mom. I love you." I smiled. I tried to at least.
"Love you too. Do you think you can sleep?" I shook my head. I can't without her. "Want me to take you back to Jaydens?" I nodded. Moms. Theyre great for anything. When I got back there he was coming out of her room. He smelled like her.
"Why do you smell like her?" I growled quietly.
"Because I was the one who held her while she cried. She's asleep now." He gave me a dirty look and laid on a a pile of blankets on the ground. He decided the couch was too sucky for him a few days ago. He made it a mission to tell me about it while he was doing it.
"Should I go in there?" I asked bashfully.
"I don't know dude. Still hasn't grown up just yet." He chided.
"Whatever." I open the door and she is sleeping on her side. Her eyes are red and so are her cheeks. My heart breaks at the sight. I want to join her but I don't want to be overbearing. She might still be upset with me. So I take a seat in the corner chair. I fall asleep with her scent surrounding me.
