Long story short, I am very busy today. I got up after sleeping very well because I forced Landon to put me to sleep. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep due to the excitement. After I showered I put on a pair of jean sorts and a crop top. I had some avocado toast and brushed my teeth. This is going to be the only normal thing of my day.
After slipping on my trusty Converse I went to Landon's office. The boys should be here in 5 minutes. Landon had mind linked their mother's this morning to make sure they knew. He said they were fuming. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Landon and I switched so I was sitting in his chair and he leaned on the front of his desk with his arms crossed. I learned the brown haired one is Ethan and the blond is Jeremy.
"Come in." I called. A woman opened the door. I'm guess in one of their mothers. They stepped in and both boys looked upset. Both were wearing nicer clothes with their hair styled. "Take a seat." The boys sat in the chairs close to the desk and the mom's sat in two chair's next to the door. Then I noticed their fathers were lingering in the doorway. They both stepped in and closed the door.
"So boys did you tell your parents what happened?"
"Yes Luna." Ethan said. I looked to his mother and father. They nodded their heads.
"What about you?" I asked Jeremy. He had a sour look on his face.
"Yes he did. I don't know why were here if that little twerp started it." His dad spoke up arrogantly.
"With all due respect he didn't tell the full story then. Please let your son do the explaining." Landon gave the man a pointed look. I had Ethan explain what had happened.
"He had pulled her hair and stuff before. Then he started calling her the R-word and making fun of her eyes. I went to ask to stop because it's hurting her. Then he starting called her dirty names so I punched him in the face." Then the door creaked open.
"Mommy?" A little girl poked her head in. From first looks you could tell she had down syndrome but she was so adorable.
"Jess stay outside." Her mom urged softly.
"But I wanted to color." She opened the door fully. She couldn't be older than 6. Thankfully I keep crayon's in his desk for these kinda things. Totally not because I still color...
"Her you go darling." I walked around the desk and gave her the pack and some paper. She squealed and clapped her hands. She took a seat at her mother's feet and quietly colored.
"Thank you Luna." She chirped as I sat down. I smiled and looked back to the boys.
"Are you really doing that?" Jeremy's mom looked very offended. He crossed his arms and looked down.
"Answer your mother." His dad growled.
"Yes I did." He said with attitude. I was surprised.
"Okay that's enough. You are on garbage duty for the rest of the month. Also you will wash all dishes after the ceremony. By yourself. This goes along with any punishments your parents give. Now get out of my office before your disrespect get's you on bed pan duty as well." Landon does not tolerate any sort of discrimination. Jeremy's mouth dropped.
