Landon

"Lila look out!" I tried to shield her from the oncoming attacker. But it was too late because I heard the metal rebar crack on the top of her head. Before I could react the papers fell then she did. Oliver came out quick and I let him take full control. He swung to grab their wrist but grabbed their shoulder instead. So he dug his nails in a ripped some of the flesh away and heard a satisfying pop.

He then swung to the side of their head, grabbing the attackers jaw. He could tell they were human due to the fact they couldn't even pry his hands off. So he squeezed they're jaw until their teeth spilt down the middle. When it cracked open and their eyes rolled to the back of their head, he finally let go. But then a sharp pain spread threw his neck and fire poured into his veins. He let out a deafening roar before succumbing to the flames that now licked up his body.

Lila

I groaned as I came to. The bright light shone in my eyes making me flinch. I tried to move my hands but the twisted painfully in tight restraints. I looked around as my vision started to clear. I un tucked my legs from under me and stretched them in front of me. I looked around to see what was going on. Next to me Landon was tied up as well but he was still unconscious. I looked up and I was tied to a tree. Somewhere in the woods a branch snapped. My headed snapped towards the sound and I waited for someone to emerge. But from the side I wasn't looking at, footsteps came about. I turned my head slowly because the fear was eating me alive.

"Hello Luna." Jayden walked to me painfully slow and then crouched in front of me. "Sleep well?" I spit in his face. He returned it with a slap hard enough to make my face throb.

"Why would you do this?" I asked.

"I'm not going to monologue. That's just not my style." He rubbed his chin the stood to walk over to my mate. I struggled to wiggle my hands from the rope.

"Leave him alone!" He stopped in his tracks.

"You mean your now weak Alpha? Oh I will for now. I'm waiting for some friends of mine to show up." He simply just kicked his foot until Landon groaned awake.

"Jayden what's the meaning of this?" He pulled on the restraints until I saw blood drip to his finger tips. "Let me out."

"No can do, buddy." He chuckled to himself. "I would not do all that work again just to capture you."

"I trusted you, you son of a bi-" Landon was silenced by a kick to his stomach. I yelled for him to stop. My wrists felt raw but the sting is what's keeping me from passing out again. I have a concussion for sure.

"You don't get it, do you?" The craziness in his eyes shown threw. "I'm never going to stop." he laughed and walked into a shadow.

"Are you alright?" I asked Landon. He was wheezing but managed to nod his head.

"Your bleeding." He mumbled. "Your head." I took notice to the smell of blood that was all round my face. Whatever hit my head made my scalp bleed.

"You are too." He shrugged. It was probable healing already.

"Is this what you were trying to tell me?" I nodded and wish I said something earlier. If I did then none of this would have happened.

"I'm sorry." I refused to cry.

"Would you two stop with that? I'm gonna throw up." He was playing on his phone.

"Who are we waiting for?" I asked trying to stay aware.

"You'll see soon." He said impatiently. I kept wiggling my hands trying to slip from the ties.

"Why is it going to be a secret?" Landon noticed what I was doing.

"Listen." Jayden stepped up again, visibly annoyed. "I don't have to explain anything to you. So sit there and be quiet." He snapped. I popped my thumb out of it's socket making me flinch. But I managed to slip my hand threw. But I kept them behind my back.

"I mean your probable going to kill me anyways so why not just tell me? You've obviously been keeping secrets." Landon began teasing him.

"Like I told your bitch earlier, I don't monologue." He smirked with a tilt of his head. I stopped listening to their banter so I could finish what I was doing. I popped my thumb back and tried not to groan. I'm sure my body hates me after all I've put it threw. I let the one hand dangle for a second while I looked around for a weapon. I scanned the ground and saw nothing sharp enough to stab him and nothing blunt enough to hit him. But I noticed that he was wearing a chain.

"Hey Jay!" Landon called out. He turned on his heel waiting for Landon to finish his statement. "Come here." He stepped to where he was about a foot away.  I pulled my hands from the ropes. "Closer." I stalked behind him the second the crouched I grabbed the chain. He began to react but Landon kicked him where the sun don't shine, kicking me in the process. But I pulled the chain as hard as I could and he tried to pull me away, but something inside me awoke. The adrenaline(I think) made me feel warm. The pain I feel all over my body dulled and I pulled even harder. Small drops of blood dropped from his skin.

"Lila!" Landon's voice was dulled and fuzzy. I let go of the chain and quickly grabbed under his jaw. Before I realized what I was doing Is napped his neck. His limp body dropped over Landon's legs. I let out a groan like breath. Just then a I heard a slide of metal, a click, then something cool on the back of my head.

"I would listen to me if I were you." The voice I heard make my heart stop for just a second. I raised my hands to the side of my head. "Go back to where you were sitting." Without turning I went back to my tree. I plopped down and a rope immediately went around my torso and hands. The person stood just out of my lone of vision.

"Who are you?" They stepped in front of me and I blanched. Nonexistent memories tried to make their way to the surface. My palms began to sweat.

"Why honey? Don't you recognize your own mother?"
