I heard the glass shatter and smelt the blood. But the door decided it was going to jam for the first time in years.  But thanks to Oliver we had the door broke in seconds. I saw her eyes close and then the arrow in her shoulder.

"Jane." I struggled to talk. "You know what to do." All I heard were retreating foot steps. I kneeled next to my mate who was bleeding more than when she tore her back open. I tried to remember what to do in theses types of situations. I decided not to pull the arrow out and would leave that to the doctor. I picked her up as carefully as possible and tried to get to the pack hospital as possible.

When I got out onto the lawn it was pure chaos. Groups of warriors running to find a trail of some kind. Other's doing check in to make sure everyone is accounted for. Then there's me. Speed walking with a bloody Luna in my hands. People quickly noticed and people quickly followed. She only just became Luna and she was already under attack. Again. The second I got to the hospital grounds she was taken form me and the arrow was cut down. But she was in my sight every second.

"What happened?" The head doctor asked while we rolled her back to get an x-ray.

"I don't know." I tried to jog my memory. "All I remember is the sound of glass shattering and the smell of blood." I shivered with disgust. "I didn't even look to see the monster who did this." Then I shook with a different emotion. Pure rage. I waited very patiently for the results.

"It looks like it barely grazed her heart, like a paper cut. So after we pull it out and stitch her up she will heal like normal." I struggled to keep my composure. "She is in good hands." I could feel Oliver taking over. "Uhm do you need to step out Alpha?" He asked.

"Yes excuse me." I walked out of the room and out of the building. The second I stepped onto the grass I shifted and let Oliver run wild. He let out a loud strangled howl that let the pack know I was pissed and out for blood.

I ran through the woods for hours. That was his way of getting out my anger. But the house had a rude awakening when I got back to it. When Oliver wore himself out and let me back I found my emergency clothes and stormed back to the house. I didn't hear anyone when I went into the house so I went to town.

Everything the was breakable was broke. Glass cut up my arms and face but I didn't even feel it. Pictures, bowls, drawers. I wrecked to first floor to bits. Then I moved past pack members room and went straight to out floor.

Everything was turned to dust. I turned my office upside down. But when I reached the picture that Jess drew me I punched a hole in the wall in the wall. Just then I got a phone call. I went through the rumble to find the phone.

"Hello?" I didn't even recognize myself.

"Stop pms'ing. She's awake." I did recognize Uriley's voice. Before I could answer he hung up. I let the receiver fall out of my hand as I ran to the hospital. I slammed the door open to her room and looked around. I expected her to be weak and dying or barely awake but she was the opposite. She was playing UNO and laughing with Uriley. The only difference was her shoulder wad bandaged.

"Hey stranger!" She waved at me. "Where have you been?"

"Out." I mumbled. "How are you?" I sat next to her on the bed.

"I'm great. The doctor gave me some meds to speed up the healing process. But he said since I'm mated to an Alpha I can go home tonight." She smiled really big. "Isn't that awesome?!"

"Yeah Alpha. Isn't that awesome?" Uriley somehow found out I destroyed everything and he was mocking me. I oughta get him too.

"Yep." I said sourly. Maybe I over reacted just a little. She is not going to be happy with me.

After a long 6 hours she was okay to go home. It would've been longer but I chipped in some magic juice because I wanted to sleep in my own bed tonight. I did stall as much as I possibly could though. When we got to the front step I tried a mini speech.

"Before you go inside I just wanted to say that I was upset. I'm just really sorry and I love you." She turned on her heel very slowly.

"What did you do?" She was very calm. I hope she stays that way. When I didn't answer she turned and opened the door. And I think that's where she went a little crazy. "Okay. This is fine. This is okay." I saw her eyes twitch.

"I'm really sorry. It's just you were-"

"Shut up." She said firmly. "I did not do this. You didn't do this because of me. You did this because you decided to." She was shaking.

"Lila? Are you alright?" I took a step towards her.

"No God dammit!" She yelled. She never yells. "I'm so sick and tired of people blaming their actions on me! I didn't put a gun to your head and said destroy the house! I didn't shove the bottle down Jane's throat! People need to start taking responsibility for their own actions so I can stop cleaning up their mistakes!" And with that she ran up the stairs. I'd hate to see her reaction to our floor.
