Not related to Kermitcraft, just EX being soft and not as evil as everyone believes =w=

Sorry for repost, had to change title from original concept because I changed it

Tbh if REALLY wanted to, doing a Grian/EX short story about them becoming friends could be actually really interesting??? A lot of just conversation and them getting to know each other, and pranks... also Zloy is added to the mix and true chaotic trio is created

Grian was wandering the HUB, bored out of his mind. It wasn't often he came here, as normally he got swarmed by fans. But right now he didn't want to be busy building anything or making a video, he just wanted to find a place to chill out and not be under any pressure.

The HUB was a weird place. It had been around as long as players had, but no one knew where players and usernames had come from. As far as Grian knew they had just... always existed. His parents were two human players, and his grandparents before them, and his other ancestors he hadn't really heard of before them. People weren't born players, but most might as well be because of how parents get children usernames almost immediately to protect them from premature death and learning how to live as a player. He wouldn't say players were elite, but to find a non-player human was incredibly rare, especially with non-humans able to get usernames as well nowadays.

The HUB had evolved through each generation. Which confused Grian, because as far as he knew there was just the HUB- no outside world around it to get resources from, but it also functioned like a different world and your inventory changed to whatever it is in that world- most of the time empty because there's nothing to break and place here. Yet there was a whole conglomeration of builds, from old London-style builds to modern storefronts, to apartments to parks to office buildings to stone-and-wood-plank cottages, and the dreaded rustic houses.

Grian sat on the rim of a fountain, simply enjoying people watching instead of people watching him, for once. There were enough people around for the plaza to have some life in it, but it was nowhere near the hustle and bustle of the main streets on a busy day in the HUB.

Grian spotted a familiar figure in the crowd.

"Hey, E-ex-I-sum-a!" The builder waved. Who he thought was the Hermitcraft admin gave no indication that he recognized the calling. He sat down at a cafe and pulled out a cookie.

Grian frowned and studied the person.

Is that not Xisuma?

No, it had to be him. He had the exact same body language in his suit and the same helmet.

He must have not heard me. I'll go say hello!

Grian cheerfully hopped up and approached the man. He hadn't ever seen X in a red suit, but he guessed that it was possibility for him to have more than just the green suit if he ever wanted it.

"Hey, X-"

"Who are you?"

Grian recoiled at the much deeper, harsher voice that came from the man he thought was his friend. The man glared up at the builder through the dark red visor, making his face dark and nearly hidden behind the colored shield.

"I-I, I was thinking of someone else, my bad," Grian stumbled, backing up in embarrassment and mild fear from this edgy man that looked like his friend.

The doppelgänger groaned.

"You're that new hermit, aren't you? The builder one? And you thought I was normal Xisuma, didn't you..."
