After Barry speeds away Iris knows exactly where he went with Nora. She feels Cisco's hand on her shoulder helping her gain consciousness but she runs away from the cortex.

She sees Barry in the hallway with tears streaming down his cheeks looking down not showing them. Iris stops in front of him.

"We can't trust her." Barry whispers.

Iris walks past him into the pipeline. "Iris—what are you doing?" Barry asked but iris ignores him.

She sees the sight of her daughter on her knees huddled trying to not fall apart. She's sobbing with her head in her hands. Iris breath hitches.

She unlocks the cell. Nora looks up immediately.

Barry puts his hand on Iris's arm to stop her. She yanks it away from him and quickly walks over to her daughter in distress.

Iris looks at her daughters state and falls to the ground to hold her. She feels Nora sobbing in her shoulder as they kneel next to each other. Nora's arms are securely wrapped around her daughter in hopes to give her reassurance.

Iris strokes her short cut hair and squeezes her so hard. Nora is shaking so much and iris wants to show her she won't let go.

Iris and Nora are sharing silent sobs when she hears a scoff come from the entrance of the cell.

She sees Barry shaking his head in disbelief. His arms crossed making him look all mighty.

"Iris you can't believe anything she says. She tried to link us in with...thawne. After all he's done! We need to— I need to—" Barry said as iris cut him off.

"What you need to do Barry." Iris said as she looked up from her daughter with red eyes. "You need to get the hell out." Iris snapped with a straight face.

Barry gasps a little. His mouth opens slightly in anger. He wants to argue but doesn't want to make things worse.

"Get out." Iris demands as she holds her grip on Nora. Barry looked Nora in the eyes and shook his head. Nora immediately started sobbing again into her mothers shoulder.

Barry sped away and deliberately wind swept their hair.

"Mom— I'm so sorry. I wanted to tell you. I just couldn't because I know you wouldn't forgive me and dad—" Nora sobbed.

"He'll never forgive me." Nora cried.

"Nora. I believe you." Iris held her close.

Nora let go of her. "You do?" She asked sniffling.

"Of course sweetie. I understand. And you're dad just...he needs some time. He seems mad now but he'll understand when you tell the team." Iris smiles gently.

"Thanks mom." Nora smiles warmly.

"But— what if he doesn't forgive me mom?" Nora asked.

"Nora, you are his flesh and blood. He loves you with all his heart. You changed him. He'll forgive you." Iris held her for so long.

Nora told the team about the whole story. Everyone listened and understood. She just needs Barry to understand.
