Joes conversation with Barry and Iris before the west-allen wedding.
                              Iris
"Hi sweetie." Joe said as he opened her door to the room she got dressed in.
"Hi dad." She said nervously touching her bracelet Caitlin had given her for the special day.
"You look flush, are you okay?" Joe sat next to her and got a water bottle from a little cooler Linda thought of to keep her cooled off in the hot room.
"Yeah yeah, I'm f-fine." Iris stuttered nervously.
"Iris, I know when you're nervous. And right now, you're showing me on the signs of being nervous." Joe smiled sympathetically and rubbed her arm.
"I'm just scared, dad. What if I trip? Or I forget to say my vows right? Or I can't hear what the priest says? Or a meta human or someone comes to crash it?" Iris stood up and paced the room.
"Iris, none of that will happen unless you make it happen. The meta human thing, not so much." Joe chuckled and iris shot him a nervous glare. "What I'm saying is, you're Iris West. Ace reporter, leader of team flash, future mother, and now future wife to a superhero!" Joe said.
"Yeah I guess so." Iris sighed and tried to act modest. "But still, even Beyoncé gets nervous." Iris crooked smiled.
"Barry gets nervous all the time. I'm going to see him after I make sure you're okay. But everyone gets cold feet on their wedding day. I know we are a little more vulnerable but it doesn't mean it can't it can't go right." Joe smiled.
"Uh-huh." Iris nodded. "I just love Barry so much, and I don't want to be the reason anything bad happens. Or ruins the day. Like I'm too nervous to even go out." She sighed and stood up pacing again.
"Iris, I'll be there, the front row. I'm walking out with you, and Barry is walking out with you after you two are Husband and Wife. Just think of that. You're getting to marry your lifetime best friend and love." Joe put his hands on her shoulders.
"You're right. I'm just getting cold feet. Everything will be fine." She breathed out a shaky breath.
"I'm not leaving until you're perfectly fine." Joe looked for the answer in her eyes.
"Yeah dad, I'm good. Thank you." She nodded and hugged him.
"Don't sweat it. Literally, you don't want to get sweat stains on your dress." Joe laughed and kissed her cheek.
"I'll try not to." Iris smiled and waved as he left the room to her.
"I'm getting married." She repeated to herself until she got the confidence. "I'm getting married to Barry Allen." She sighed and closed her eyes in glory. "It's gonna be okay." She said and opened her eyes and smiled at the mirror.
                              Barry
"Hey Bare." Joe smiles as he walked into Barry's dressing room for the big day.
Barry was fixing his black bow tie when he turned around and smiled at Joe.
"Hey Joe. Did you talk to Iris yet?" Barry asked as he grabbed the comb on the vanity.
"Uh Yeah I just did actually. I helped calm her nerves. She must really love you Bare. She's getting nervous to marry such a sweetheart like you." Joe chuckled as he patted Barry's back and sat on the couch in the room.
"I can't be nervous today, I've been dreaming and planning this since I was 10." Barry chuckled and combed his hair and sprayed more hairspray.
"Oh yeah, I know that." Joe smiled at Barry.
"Did she cry? Is she okay now?" Barry sat across from joe and nervously fiddled with his comb.
"She didn't cry, no. She would never ruin her makeup like that." Joe told Barry something he already knew. "But yeah she's fine now. I helped her calm down and told her you're no where near someone to get nervous about."
"Yeah. I thought I'd be the one to sweat through my tux not her. She's too brave and bold to be scared of anything." Barry shrugged.
                              "How you doin?" Joe Asked.
"I'm good. Just a bit scared that something will go wrong. Like a meta human or anything like that, somehow to find me." Barry puffed out air.
"Iris had the same concern for you. But I made sure she knew that nothing, even some stupid god forsaken meta, could ruin this perfect day." Joe said.
"Yeah. But I want everything to be perfect for her. Everything." Barry sighed and looked down at his shoes.
"Seems to me that everything is perfect Bare." Joe said happily.
                              "I hope so." Barry sighed.
"You'll be fine. Just believe that it will all run smoothly and at the end you two will be married." Joe patted him on the back.
"Yeah. Yeah..." Barry smiled to himself.
"Thanks joe. I love you. And i love Iris. Don't worry, I'll take care of her with everything in me." Barry nodded.
"Don't sweat it bare. I know." Joe gave him a hug and kissed his cheek.
                              Joe left.
Barry thought about what Joe said. "Don't sweat it." He quickly put his hand in his under arm and made sure he didn't sweat in the tux.
"Thank god." Barry sighed and sat down at the vanity and looked at himself.
"Wedding day. Today." Barry sighed happily. "Iris West-Allen." He looked at his bare hand. "It'll be perfect."
