Barry is a police officer and pulls over Iris. She flirts her way out of a ticket.
They don't know each other in this.
Iris didn't have a reason to be speeding down the abandoned road, but she did. She was going to the mall and was so happy that she almost forgot that there are always police officers there.
That's when she was going 50 in a 25 MPH zone. She silently cursed to herself as she saw the red and blue lights with deafening sirens.
She slowly pulled over to the side and grabbed her IDs. She saw the little black squad car come up behind her and park.
She looked through her rear view mirror and stopped dead on her tracks. Barry Allen. Her dad had told her about him. Said he was the top of his class in the police academy. He's some legend at CCPD, apparently...
"Good morning, Officer Allen." Iris greeted as he leaned on her car door window.
"Good morning Ms. West. Wait West? As in Joe west's daughter?" Asked Barry taking off his sunglasses, which it wasn't even sunny.
"That's right. Please don't tell him." Iris said pleadingly as she quickly looked up at him. She feels like a teen again.
"I won't." Barry chuckled as he got out his notepad.
"Thank you." Iris sighed out.
"So tell me Ms. West, why were you doing a 50 in a 25 zone?" Barry asked as he opened his notepad to a new page.
"Uh well, there was a-a s-sale! There was a sale. At the CC mall. I wanted to get there before all the old ladies got there first." Iris said thinking of something on the spot.
"Well no sale is worth your life. You could've slid off the roads with all this fresh mud from the rain yesterday going that fast." Barry explained as he looked around the wet road.
"You're right officer. I should've never done this. I was being stupid and I'll never do it again." Iris nodded to herself and gripped her wheel.
"I'm gonna have to write you up. Full name?" Barry asked clicking his pen.
"Iris West." She sighed.
But then a thought came in her head. She can make him throw that paper away.
Um officer?" Iris asked as she lifted up her skirt a little to have more leg visibility form where he stood.
"Yes Miss." he answered as he looked up while writing.
"You've been working all week, all day, all night. Do you ever get a...break?" Iris suggested as she spread her legs a little. He looked down at her and cleared his throat.
"I don't have a girlfriend. I usually just focus on work." Barry said as he finished writing.
"Well don't you ever have some kind of desire for someone?" Iris suggested as she took off her heels and tossed them in the back and lifted her feet to the wheel.
"I don't need to you about this." Barry chuckled and ripped off the piece of paper for her.
"Uh how about you let that desire built up in you, show. Break free!" Iris said sounding drunk.
"Iris, if you think you're gonna flirt your way through a ticket it isn't working." Barry turned away.
"No please." Iris grabbed his arm that was rock solid. "I just think you're really hot." Iris blushed.
"Hmm, well. That's nice of you. But I must be getting back." Barry smiles and walked.
"No!" Iris called as she quickly got out of the car and ran up to him. She tackled his back.
She sent him falling on the road. She heard a gun go off and realized it was his. In record time he grabbed her and got her out of the aim of fire.
"Thank you." Iris said breathless.
"Yeah." Barry panted.
"So that ticket?" Iris shrugged.
