Close call

*phone ringing* 

Rose is asleep cuddled into my side and out for the count, I could still hear a phone going off. It must be hers coming from her jean pocket, I manage to reach without too much struggle then see the caller ID. It's Drake calling which means she is late home or she forgot to let them know she way here. It felt odd answering the phone but I anyway. 

''Hi Drake its Faith, is Rose late home or did she forget to let you know she got here safe? she's fallen asleep at present but I can wake her up for you if you need to speak to her''

''No that's fine Faith as long as we know she is at yours its fine, we would like her home tonight though please.''

''Of course she will be home, don't you worry about that. I'll wake her in 10 minutes and tell her you called'' We said our goodbyes and hung up. It still felt odd talking to her parents about anything that wasn't her training but once we didn't have to keep us a secret, everything would feel different in a better way. I just hoped she wouldn't loos the thrill of us when that day came. 

*knock knock knock* 

Who could that be, I wasn't expecting anyone since I had Rose with me. Jumping out of bed and looking out the window I could see Emma standing at my door, she was all dressed up with a bottle of wine in her hands. What was she doing here for christ sake, I couldn't ignore her as it was obvious im home with my lights on and car in the drive. What was I going to do, if she see's Rose we are all doomed.

''What's going on, how long was we...''

''Hun no time to talk, Emma is at my front door now be quiet and listen. Grab all of you stuff, everything and lock yourself in the bathroom. Have a shower and get dressed, i'll go down and see what she wants. Whatever you do don't come out of there until I say understand, if I know her like I think I do she will come into the bedroom to see who i'm with. Don't even unlock the door if you hear a knock, I will text you when it's clear.'' Rose was white as a ghost and shaking, I probably didn't help but I wanted to be sure she wouldn't be found. I gave her a quick kiss then grabbed a tank and shorts throwing them on as I mad my way to the door. Stopping for a second to compose myself, then opening the door just to have Emma push herself in before I could say anything. I didn't expect any different from her but she still managed to shock me even now. Without showing to much anger in my voice I asked how she had managed to find me and what did she want. 

''Faith it sounds like you don't want me here, and by the glassed and car outside id say you have company. Hope I didn't interrupt anything to much, so who is she? i'd like to meet the women whos caught my girls eye.'' I knew it she just wanted to get under my skin while she was in town but I wasn't playing her stupid games no more. 

''Emma you are not wanted here so take you bottle and get out of my house, I made it very clear the day I left that I wanted nothing more to do with you''

''That's not a very nice thing to say since I helped get that girl of yours through to tryouts now is it, id thought you would be happy and maybe willing to show me.'' Before I could stop her she was halfway up the stairs and in my room, luckily I could still hear the shower going and Rose had managed to pick up anything of hers so Emma couldn't see. 

''I see you still have the gift I got for you and by the looks of it you have upgraded the dildos to bigger, I always knew you loved it bigger and harder. Looks like she in the bathroom cleaning up, maybe I should wait here and introduce myself since I taught you so much. Or we could have a re enactment and show her how it's really done'' Emma was standing so close that my skin was on edge, How was I going to get this women out of my house and as far away from Rose as possible . I really didn't want to play into her games but if it meant she would leave that that's what I had to do. 

''Emma she is a one night thing, nothing serious is going on here. To tell you the truth im still getting over leaving you. leave the woman alone tonight, i'll make us dinner tomorrow so we can have a proper catch up from the old times'' Emma's eyes said it all to clear what she wanted, but was I really willing to do that just to save Rose and in the process destroy all the trust and love we had. I did say that if she was in this type of situation to go with it and I would understand but now the rolls had changed and I wasn't 100% that she would understand and not be hurt by it all. I needed time to think this all through, for now it was working. Emma lent in giving me a kiss then walked herself out of my house closing the door behind, I must of jumped two steps at a time to bolt the door behind so she couldn't get back in. I really needed a drink which was lucky as my glass was still on the table, downing it all I went back to my bedside table to text rose it was safe to come out. I sent the text then realised the shower had stopped running, how long for I didn't know but my heart was beating so fast with fear that she had heard everything. The door lock sounded telling me she was coming out but she didn't, I waited but still nothing. Walking into the bathroom I sore Rose on the floor fully dressed but her eyes were all puffy and red from crying. My worst fear was true, she had heard everything, Dam it all. Sitting down next to her on the floor I pulled her onto my lap and just held her in my arms until she was ready to talk. 

''Are you really going to have her over here tomorrow night? Do you have to?''

''I'm so sorry princess, I wasn't thinking properly. I was more concerned about getting her out the house and away from you. I just wanted you safe, now i'v messed it up big time. please forgive me baby'' I felt like the biggest asshole in the world at that moment. 

''It's fine I understand, its like you said to me. If we have to do things like that to save us then that's what we have to do. I don't think I could cope if you sleep with her, that would kill me inside..''

''I would never do that to you, plus I think I would be physically sick if I had to go there again. I promise nothing will happen and I will call you as soon as she has gone. I love you too much to lose you over a women like her. Anyway just before she came you had a call from your dad, you forgot to let him know you got here safe. They want you home tonight as your mum needs her car back, good thing you didn't come in your car or we would be in big trouble.'' Finally getting off the floor I helped Rose finished getting dressed and held her tight before kissing her goodnight and going back to bed myself. It might of only been 10pm but i'd had a long day and all I wanted to do now was fall asleep replaying the intimacy i'd had with Rose tonight.
