Bumping into the past

We had finished our lunch and started to grab our bags, Hayley had stumbled back a few steps and bumped into someone. It was a tall man with black hair and blue eyes, he was nicely toned and looked like he had just come back from holiday. It wasn't till I saw Hayley's face that it clicked to me, this must be Leo. her face was a little flustered but nothing to really notice. They stood staring at each other for a few seconds until Hayley said the first word.

''Hi i'm sorry for bumping into you, I just didn't see you, are you hurt?'' he had a deep voice but it wasn't scary deep. More like listening to someone reading a book to you deep.

''Hi and no you didn't hurt me, how are you? I've not seen you for a while''  I could see they wanted to talk so I excused myself and asked her to call me later so I knew she was ok. It wasn't till I got out the shopping center I remembered that we came in Hayleys car, dame im ganna have to get the bus. As I walked towards the bus stop I heard a bike behind me, something in my mind told me to look over my shoulder and i'm glad I did. Faith was pulling up next to me, even though she had her helmet on I still knew it was her. She turned the engine off and climbed off the bike, not taking her helmet of but only lifting the visor up so I could see her eyes.

''Rose i've been looking everywhere for you, are you ok? Let me take you home, i've got a spare helmet in the backbox, you can put your shopping in there'' I don't know why but I felt like I was a child being scolded for doing something wrong, not the concern a girlfriend would give if she couldn't get in touch. I accepted the helmet and climbed on the bike, holding Faith tight around the waist as I had never been on a bike before as they scare me.

We got back to mine quickly and I made my way up to my room, mum and dad were out so the house was ours. Dropping the bags in my wardrobe and closing the doors I sat on my bed and grabbed my phone that I had left behind accidently. The screen came on and i could see 10 messages from Faith and 20 missed calls all from her as well. Wow she must be pissed off at me then. Faith was taking her helmet, gloves and jacket of at my desk. The room stayed silent until she sat in front of me and talked.

''Rose i've been worried sick about you, not turning up for practice, answering my calls or replying to my text. I've been on the bike for the last hour looking for you, and what do I see. You leaving the mall with shopping and no car? What were you thinking, I was so close to calling your parents.'' she did care but I still felt like a child the way she was talking to me, it upset me a lot. I said I was sorry and explained that we had over slept. After I finished talking I made my way to the bathroom and turn the shower on, I felt like I needed to be alone for the first time since meeting Faith. Thankfully she didn't follow me into the shower and I got to wash away all the dirt from today, it also gave me time to compose myself agen.

By the time I finished and dressed again, making my way back into my room I could see Faith had found my shopping from today and had laid it all out on the bed, looking at it all with a naughty smile on her face. I just stood there not sure what I should do.

''Rose come here please, did you go out and get all of they's today? why ?''  I made my way to stand next to her and looked at all I had bought.

''Hayley dragged me out to get all this, she thought it was time for me to have some sexy underwear. Plus I thought you might like some of they's and you might like me more if I wore them.''

''Rose I love you for who you are not what you wear, you didn't have to get all of this. I've already said i'm not going to push you into anything until you're ready'' she was now holding me and pulling me closer for a kiss, I just wished it would be more than a kiss on the lips. I craved her body now, it was driving me crazy. Faith then brought up the one thing I was hoping she wouldn't, why Hayley wanted to take me shopping. I took a big breath and thought now was as good as ever so I sat her down and explained that Hayley knew about us without me saying anything, also that she was going to help us and not say anything to anyone instead help us see more of each other. Faith wasn't happy but she wasn't as mad as I thought she would of been, if anything she was ok with it as it gave me someone that I could talk to about anything I didn't want to ask her about. We layed in bed for a bit just cuddling, no talking or anything just laying together. It was getting late and I knew mum and dad would be home soon so we made our way down stairs and sat at the kitchen island drinking tea and talking about the gala.

''Hi rose oh and Faith, we didn't know you were coming over. Would you like to stay for dinner?'' mum and dad were bringing shopping bags in so I jumped up to help dad as he looked shattered. Faith accepted the invite and started talking to mum about the upcoming gala and my training, I was in orr how she could just so calmly talk to mum about one thing when in reality we were doing something completely different. Dad tapped me on the shoulder and nodded his head towards the living room so I followed, not sure what he was after I sat opposite him waiting for him to talk.

''Rose I want full honesty from you as I can tell when you lie, what is going on between you and Faith? I may only be your dad but I can tell that you have been acting odd the last few months.'' holly frick where has this come from, I hadn't thought I had changed that much since meeting Faith. But as dad said he knew when I was or wasn't lying, I wish Faith was here next to me for support. Last thing I wanted was my parents to go mad and stop me from seeing Faith or taking me out of the club. What do I do now, all I could think of was sit and fiddle my fingers. Dad just stayed in his seat waiting for my reply but I couldn't say anything, all the air in my lungs had gone.Was i really that obvious, first Hayley now dad.

''Rose can I borrow you for a minute?''  timing couldn't have been any worse, just then Faith walked into the living room. Mum must of still been in the kitchen, I think Faith could tell something was going on by the look on my face. There was no time for words and my dad stood up and indicated for both of us to follow him out to the garage that we hardly ever used, not really sure why we didn't use it. Dad had turned the light on and was now getting a stool and placing it in the middle of the room, indication for me to sit down. I obeyed straight away as I knew my dad well.

''Now I have you both hear i'm gonna ask one last time, what is going on between you both? I have seen the way you look at each other and act with each other and I want the truth from you both''

Holy crap what were we going to do? What would dad say or worse do. Would he tell mum and if so what would happen to us? Would I be pulled out of my club agen so I would never see or hear from Faith ever. The thought of never seeing Faith agen hurt so much my eyes were welling up again and a hand was placed on my shoulder to comfort me, without even looking I knew it was her and I could let some of this worry seep away just knowing she would support me and fight for me.

I placed my hand over hers and squeezed only slightly, my way of showing support and affection. I couldn't kiss or hold Faith but I could do this one simple thing.
