Astrids POV.
Me and Hiccup started helping the others build the new huts, since our old village of 7 generations was burnt to ash by that filthy scum...Grimmel. Hiccup had his idea face, so I thought to myself *what's he up to*. I looked to see how they were doing and then...
"Hang on guys, I'll go and get Toothless." He said, loud and clear for everyone to hear.
I immediately looked at him, he was facing away from me so I couldn't tell what he was thinking, but I could sense he was hurt, which made me hurt. He slowly turned around and looked at me, then looked down to his feet, I wanted him to speak...to say something so I said.
"Hiccup?"
He ran towards me, and I could hear him sniffling from crying. Then he grabbed me around my waist and placed his head face down in my shoulder. I put my arm around him and stroked his messy hair. The most pain staking words barely trailed out of his mouth, which made me tear up a little, but he couldn't see.
"I can't... I can't d-do it, I'm not strong like you... I'm w-worthless without hi-him."
Just those words made my heart hurt. What was he thinking? And why was he thinking it?
"Hiccup, I said it once and I'll say it a million more times if I have to, you are the bravest, most stubborn, knuckle-head I know." I said to him.
A tear trickled slowly down his face, I wiped it away and put my hand on his cheek. A noise disturbed my focus. It was from above. I rapidly pulled him in to a tight hug.
"I love you" I said as quick as I could, then, as painful as it was to hurt him, I pushed him hard out the way. At that moment the house collapsed on me. The metal crushing me to the floor.

Hiccups POV.
"NO, ASTRID, NO!" I yelled.
The dust was blurring my vision as I began to run into it. Gobber and my Mother grabbed me back.
"No, son, don't." She said.
"Let go of me!" I screamed, tears forming in my eyes.
I twisted my arms and pulled, making them release their grip. I then ran for the growing cloud of orange, and brown dust. As I approached the sheet of earthy grains, I heard Gobber yell.
"HICCUP!"
Covering my eyes away from the speaks of brown, I was screaming non stop.
"ASTRID!...ASTRID?...ASTRID, PLEASE, CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
I repeated it like a broken record, scanning everywhere, searching for her.
"Hi-Hi-H...Hiccup" I quiet whisper carried an echo.
"Astrid is...is that you, I can't... I can't see you" I nervously spat out.
"Down he-here" came from the floor.
I looked down to see her lying, crushed underneath a metal beam, and wood logs. Immediately I began throwing off the logs, and debris. I kept looking at her, worrying if she was okay or not.
"It...it hurts" she blurted out in a scream of pain.
"Just stay with me okay...promise me...don't go to sleep, just keep looking at me." I couldn't bare to see her like this.
"I pr-pr..." she began, but didn't finish.
I looked at her, with complete shock and fear filling my entire body, I wanted to just kneel down and stroke her what once was blond locks, but I had to keep removing the carnage on top of her.
"Astrid... NO... COMMON STAY AWAKE, PLEASE...PLEASE... ASTRID!."  I screamed in pain.
She was unconscious and I didn't know what to do, I could hear the creaking of the house still falling down, it could crush us both at any moment, but I had to take the risk...for her. I managed to get everything off the metal beam and tried to lift it off of her, but I couldn't it was so heavy...and I wasn't strong enough. I couldn't think. I was lost. I knelt down and said to her.
"I'm so, so sorry...I couldn't do it... I love you more than anything"
I stayed there, but thought...no I can't give up, I have to save her I grabbed a few logs and stuffed them under the beam and kept doing that until it was high enough for me to pull her out. I grabbed under her shoulders and yanked her from underneath the metal. The creaking was getting louder, and louder, I moved as quick as I could.

No POV.
The people were stood in a rough semi-circle around the wreck, watching as it creaked. "C,mon Hiccup... c,mon" Gobber said in fear.
The creaking was uncontrollably loud everyone covered their ears.
"EVERYONE, GET BACK...NOW!" screamed Valka.
"Where's Hiccup." She said in a panic.
"He's... he's..." stuttered Gobber.
"HE'S WHAT, GOBBER!" She said with utter fear
"...He's still not out of there..." he managed to spit out.
Then the wreck of the house crashed down with a huge cloud of dust surrounding it.
