3:30pm
I was standing in my room going through my closet wondering what the hell to wear. I didn't wanna wear something showy but at the same time I didn't wanna seem like an emo or delinquent. I had been here since 2pm deciding on what to wear before I go to Ann's place. I mean, it's not like it matters what I wear I was just... I didn't want to look bad.
"Sweetheart! You've got 30 minutes till you're meant to be at your friends house!" My mother yelled from downstairs, I rolled my eyes a little to myself. "I know!"
I don't hate my parents. They're just super annoying sometimes... Especially mine. They're all over protective and what not. In fact at first they didn't want me to go over to Ann's house because she lived in a "shady apartment" but I explained how most of the seniors at our school had apartments for themselves to. Not to mention the fact once I turn 18 I plan to move out of this place... I wonder if an would let me stay with her.
After much debate however I decided to go with something simple; but still not boring. Just a blue zip hoodie, grey shirt, jeans and dock martins. Once done I packed my bag which had my load of the assignment inside and made my way to Ann's apartment. The closer I got the more nervous I became. I hope she didn't forget I was coming over... Nah. Ann has a good memory and would never forget something like this. But yet maybe... No stop doubting!
While debating with myself in my head; I eventually got to where the apartment building sat. The place itself didn't look to bad and from what I've seen the apartments are quite nice. With a skip in my step I strolled eagerly to the elevator before tapping on the top floor and going up. Once reaching the top I stepped outside and ran over to Ann's door before nocking. "Ann! Knock knock! It's your assessment buddy!" After a moment or so; the door opened and there she stood. "Hey, you turned up."
"Of course! Did yah think I'd forget?"
"The thought crossed my mind." She replied stepping out of the way for me to enter. "Hmmm... Meanie..." I grumbled stepping inside. I took in her appearance as I passed her; since it's been a while since I saw her in something which wasn't our uniform. Her hair was the same; tied up at the back with a few strands of hair in that red bow of hers. But she wore a red and white stripped shirt which had long sleeves. Along with a black skirt, thigh highs and red and white converse high tops. She did look... Cute...
"I got some chips if you're hungry." She commented closing the door behind me. "What kind?"
"Cheese and Onion."
"Ew, why not have some salt and vinegar."
"Take it or leave it."
"Alright alright I'll take it."
She went into the kitchen and opened the cupboard while I sat down on the cough and opened my bag; pulling out the pages I had written last night. "So you found some stuff?"
"Yeah. There's this website which is full of old news articles and stuff. I read about three and took some basic notes. I wrote down the website to so we could both look at it together." She stayed silent for a moment. "...You really have done your fair share of the job."
"Of course! What type of partner would I be if I didn't?" I replied with a huge grin, holding up my papers. "My laptop is on the table in front of you, feel free to start it up and search that website." I nodded as she poured the chips into a bowl. I picked it up and turned it on. "...Eh, password?" I asked. "Don't know if I want to give you that." She replied walking over with the bowl and placing it on the table. "Cmon, I won't look at yah search history..."
"I wasn't referring to that about it!" She then sighed. "Shi+C4S" Raising an eyebrow, I typed it in before looking back at her. "Strange password."
