What just happened

Sam collapses on the ground and started shaking. It stopped after a few seconds. He had a mini seizure.

I climbed down the tree. "What happened" I cried.
"I think he had a mini seizure" Derek said

"Get him to the doctor!" I cried and started hugging Sam.

I let go as the boys lifted him up and got in their car. Laying Sam in the backseat. I let Sam rest his head on my leg.

We got to the hospital. Derek went in and got someone and they rolled a gurney out and layed Sam on it. They rolled him in and put him in the ICU and layed him on the bed and hooked him to heart monitors and an iv. He slowly starts waking up.

Derek got up to get a doctor. The doctor came in and saw Sam waking up. The doctors name was Dr. Micheals. Sam opened his eyes and looked at all of us
"What happened" he said softly

"You passed out" Dr. Micheal's said

"What was it" sam said

"Well we need to do a few scans MRI and others" Dr. Micheal's said

A hour later Sam was sent for scans and they came back and they were seizures.

"So the scan says they were seizures" the doctor said

"What caused them" Sam said

"We do not know we need to run more tests" the doctor said

Josh and Derek and I sat down.
Sam was sent for more tests and he was diagnosed with epilepsy

"It seems like you have epilepsy " the doctor said

Sam eyes widened it seemed like he knew what it was. Our mom has those. That's how she got in a car crash while driving dad out to eat.

Memories started flooding back in my head.
"We are going to put you in some medication that will help control them" doctor said

The doctor went out of the room. I guess to get the prescription. He came back 20 min later with a bottle of the medication.
Sam took one dose the doctor gave him and said
"Take off work a few days" he said

"Yes" Sam said

We got discharged a day later. We got home.

Sam took a hot shower upstairs. I sat and watched tv. Sam came down in comfy clothes.
He sat on the couch. He knew what epilepsy was because mom had it.

"Sam I'm sorry" I said

"For What bud" he said

"Acting like a baby the other day" I said

"It's okay" he yawned.
He then fell asleep he was tired.
