Part 24: Busted

Today is the twins birthday. Kian and Aaron spent the whole yesterday getting in contact with their families in Missouri. They want to make this birthday special. They want to give them something that they never thought they would get again.

Everyone else is setting up the room that they rented. They drape streamers and confetti everywhere. They put tablecloths on tables and set everything up. James went way overboard and put cardboard cut outs of the twins beside a background for taking a picture. The room is huge and it was clearly James idea.

The twins don't really fell up to anything but the boys keep dragging them and pressuring them to go do things.

"Come on it's your birthday guys, you have to do something." Kian says

"Yeah just have a little fun. We know you're sad but we'll help cheer you up." Aaron says. The twins give in and go upstairs and take showers and take off the sweatpants and sweatshirts that they've been wearing for the past two days. They change into some jeans and crop tops. They put n their vans and sulk downstairs. Aaron and Kian make them laugh a little and take them to the roller skating rink. They know this always gets some things off their minds.

Andrew wants to make and buy his own gifts for the twins. They mean a lot to him. He makes two hand made cards and uses all his piggy bank money to buy them two teddy bears and ring pops. He's super happy that he could do that for them. He can't wait to give them their gift.

Lear knows that the twins birthday is today, so he wants to give them the best gift that he can. He knows that is the arrest of their dad's killer. He's planing to take down most of the gang that the group had to deal with. He already has the plan to take down Diamond, Ice, and Realeza. he has three whole police force working on this with him. They gave up on the case when they could find any clues. When Lear started finding clues they gained more interest. They were down when Lear showed them cold, hard facts. Now, they working extremely hard to find Wendy who has fled the country, it seems like. they call her bank and they're tracking down her credit card purchases now. They're going to find her once and for all.

James text Aaron to see how the girls are doing and if they suspect anything. Aaron responds back quickly and he goes back to distracting the twins and especially Roni. She finds stuff out way to quick. They get ice cream and watch two squirrels chase each other up a tree.

"We got you guys a present" Kian says when the girls look like they're getting suspicious.

"Come on. You didn't have to do that. Didn't we say we didn't want a present" Roni and Nessa say at the same time.

"One, that was freaky and two, it's your birthday, we had to get you something." Aaron says. They pull out four lanyards from their book bags. They each have their name on it. Kian gives the one that says Nessa to Nessa and Aaron gives the one that says Roni to Roni. They scream.

"We get to go to Disney for a whole year!" The twins cheer. They grab each others hands and start jumping up and down. That's the first time Aaron or Kian has seen them smile in two days. They miss those smiles.

As the days pass Mariah and Luke get more and more anxious. They're ready to see what the gender of the baby is and what they will look like. They even came up with a couple names but there's one that really stands out. That's Malaya. Mariah thinks about when they came up with that name.

"Hmmmmmmm. I don't really know any names. I have a strong feeling that it's going to be a girls so let's stay in that range." Mariah says

"I have a name but it's not really good. I've always wanted to name my child Leia because of Star Wars." Luke shrugs
